I assume it will be packaged with a bunch of other games, and the guy who buys it won't even realize he has it.

Latest rumour is that Xbox will charge full retail price on a used disc, meaning that there's no reason to buy used games.  I don't know if I'm being crazy or paranoid, but I think this setup is a huge goldmine for some fraudster.

Picture this; a con artist offers to buy used copies at $15 a pop.  The game owners will jump at that deal; they can play their game without the disc, they don't need it anymore.  The con artist then seals them up to make them look new, and sells them at $45 a pop.  I guarantee you, there's tons of people who'd be naive enough to fall for that, and Microsoft is going to get the blame.

Why did they need to scan an actual military dog?  Seriously, they could have borrowed a German Shepherd from the animal shelter and no one would be the wiser.

Does the Xbox have any exclusives besides Gears of War and Halo?  From an outsider's perspective, it seems like virtually every game for the Xbox is also on the PS3 or PC.

Wow, not a lot to look at.  Guess they're taking the "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" approach.

Why didnt they name it Xbox 720?
Lang Zi says: When you do a 720, you end up right back where you started.

I'm a little concerned about the fee system.  What if someone buys a used game from Gamestop, only to discover that the fee makes it exceed the price of a new game?  Hopefully more people will learn to sell their games on Ebay, it's not hard.

360 = one revolution
720 = two revolutions

both times you start and end facing the same direction. A person would think more revolutions is better when it comes to consoles.

Haven't heard about the fee thing, care to explain? I'm watching the reveal presentation now as I live in Aus and it was on at 3 am.
The game gets installed on your Xbox, so that you don't need to insert the disc every time you want to play.  The disc can somehow communicate with the Xbox and alert Microsoft if its one free installation has been used up.

They haven't told us how much the fee will be, and whether or not the new installation overwrites the old one.

ElectricHammer is the binding you want.

Bots AI'd with THz and FrenZy use a special motor that goes in a 180-arc, I don't recommend it, it comes with quite a lot of havok issues.

noooo new type D:
Why?  It's been 4 generations since the last new types, and this tips the balance in favor of the severely underpowered Poison type.

Is anybody else going to get Animal Crossing next month? If so, we will need to add each other.
I've been questioning getting it after loyally buying the first 3 versions.  There were some features of the Gamecube version that I wasn't happy they took out.  What are the improvements going to be?

I will get one when Scribblenauts Unlimited is released, and I will probably get ZombiU at the same time.
You should just get it on Steam, it's available now.

Me, I'm waiting on Pikmin 3

Is it an of/off swich or button?  The switch might not work.  Also, use Omni instead of Spinner
