how do you people make angled spinners i will never know

Just mount a weapon motor on an angled anchor facing backwards.

I can never find the space for it.

Reduce chassis height, raise your drive motor up a notch or two. And use Shinies or Vlads. Maybe even Tornados if you can. Should be invertible by then

I wasn't really planning on entering it because it is silly and probably not IRL. I think there should be some leniency with bots that have weapons on/for wheels, I mean I added the beaters to try and help with traction, not to score points, and there have been a lot of bots with sawblade wheels.

Don't forget, Stinger-esque bots

Nah, it's fine.

Other than the drive, straight drive would've been better. And a smaller chassis could work too. But that's kinda optional.

It usually takes make around 30 minutes to skin a bot, but it depends on what you're skinning and how you're gonna skin it.

Anyway, new MW with reskinned hypno disc:

Old HW.

I remembered HF posted a picture of some bots he and his dad drew on the art showcase thing and I saw flapjack and a couple of others and decided to make them.

Tuning Fork is in DSL 3, lazy to get a screen of it.

i was talking about the decals

any advice on how to better protect the sides and back?

If I'm not mistaken, you can add shell panels onto the threads, just like Triclops has, then add spikes onto it. Or another shell panel as a wedge of sorts.

1270
If you're talking about Sponsor Decals they belong in the texture library, either in the folder itself or in a folder within that folder I forgot.

Anyways, yea. You're gonna want to make use of that extra 60KG's.

Also, is that skirt hinge on the back lifted up one notch? If it isn't, it won't be accepted.

Besides that... okay I guess? I would've gone with wheels to be faster, but if what you're saying is true then okay. It's probably gonna get dominated if a flipper or wedged bot get's it's sides or back but okay.

I'll fight you if S.H.I.E.L.D. really can't get an antiballast in his game.

Nah man go ahead. You two have fun.

Stock SHW title match anyone?

I'd love to acept that challenge.

If my stock game had an SHW builder ugh

Shouldn't take much to throw an anti ballast in there, surely?

I literally cannot install components. Tried installing smart zones. Ended up making my bots crash the game.

The chassis is more suited for a flipper, but it's alright. Better than the last one.

The skirt hinges however, are sticking out and they look horrid. Replace it with a hinge. (If I'm not mistaken you gotta raise it up 1 notch otherwise it'll be illegal to enter to BB9)

Other than that, looking good.

Dude I honestly think you should make a new chassis, cause your current one isn't doing you any good.

Looks better. Definitely. I think the Chassis is too high, but it's IRL-ish at least.

Not IRL at all.

The blade cuts through the wheels and the motors and the chassis, even if you added slots it wouldn't work. You'll have to expand the chassis (either make a T-shape or make a kinda of extender support like Last Rites has) or make a new bot. Also, left motor kinda sticks out a bit too much.

Did some building at my friend's house.

(Image removed from quote.)
RC Car
Lightweight
+ Looks funny
- Flips at every opportunity, car steering, ridiculous ground clearance
Thoughts; I like how this one turned out.

(Image removed from quote.)
Join Us
Middleweight
+ Good damage, works like a dustpan should
- Light armour
Thoughts; I don't think it's too bad. I would love to add more aesthetics, but I'm limited from weight.

(Image removed from quote.)
Don't have a name yet, leave some suggestions.
Heavyweight
+ Good protection
- High ground clearance, weapon breaks easily
Thoughts; The front looks messy, but once I buy a new laptop and/or get my compooter fixed I can do some BFEing and clean & tighten it up a little.

Not my best effort, but I'm not going to put in full effort while I'm at my friends house. Expect better builds from me when I can use my own computer. I'll also go back in my showcase and fix some of my later bots.

Love RC Car. join us is kinda weird, doesnt  the saw arm pass through that ramplates you have there?

The HW, from what I can see the shell panels stop the opponents from getting to the disc, but other than that looks okay. Reminds me of that bot Lightning S. Entered into BB8 and BB7

Would people rather the bracket be 16 with a loser's bracket or 32 with no loser's bracket?
Thinking of expanding to 32, but still using 4 way melee's, so the first round would be qualifiers and the top 2 in each battle go through to the main 16-spot tournament
I would prefer a loser's bracket, personally.
I'd get to see my robot in action at least twice, as well as any other cool competitors.
