Well yeah but I just noticed how their names (nix yours) are similar to their area of specialty.

I actually just watched a video of both Pyramadroid and Probophobia in combat and Probophobia looks pretty effective, but, it's longer than Automoton and is more narrow.

I don't want to further this argument, in starting it I realized I wasn't in the best of moods and now I kinda regret it.

I also just saw the Cyclone vs Probophobia vs Spin Doctor video. Though it did win, its win was kind of contributed to the unreliability of Cyclone's and Spin Doctor's blades (stopping up after hitting probo).

In real life, that would be almost as useless as the screws in the BB arena.
So being able to get under other bots and lifting them up on all the small spikes so they cannot get away and being able to carry them around the arena is useless?
There isn't that big of a chance that a bot has the ground clearance small enough to be completely hoisted and unable to move on those small spikes, nor a chance that those lifters on the side will actually get under something wide enough, or a chance that lifters that small will have enough leverage to actually pick up anything. Even if the blue moon does rise and the tide is high, that bot still wouldn't do any real damage other than taking the other bot to arena hazards, which is 1) useless if there are none and 2) takes a longer time then a HS/VS takes to rip a massive chunk out of a bot.

So yes.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Laser Man's Weird, Wacky Misadventures
« on: February 23, 2013, 03:06:42 PM »
It's like I was reading a comic written by an 11 year old, oh wait!

Your grammatical and spelling skills are severely lacking. I've seen 'your' in the place of 'you're' and 'you're' in the place of 'your' so many times, and I'm probably overlooking the there/their/they're mistakes that may or may not be in theirthere.

Before your spriting, before your humor, waaaay before everything else comes spelling and grammatical mechanics. If you can't spell anything right, if you can't properly structure a sentence, if you can't figure out the difference between they're/there/their or you're/your or threw/through or write/right and so on; you shouldn't be spriting or thinking of humor material until you can do any of those.

Another thing I noticed; if one character says something and another character has a response, that response usually makes no sense as a response. Confusing, I know; let me give you an example. In the part of the strip that GF just posted, *that other guy's* response to "Does this webcomic even have a plot?" makes no sense. Glacier Man (I guess?) asked a question, not stated a point; so it would make no sense for *that other guy* to say "GOOD POINT." The Capitalization is a bit pointless as well but that isn't my point. *the other guy* would probably more likely say "No... no it really doesn't."

Need another example? In "The Anticlimactic Ending to the Showdown," Propane Woman (Which is a poorly thought of and really cheesey name) says "The name's Propane Woman and Hard Man is crashing down." and then Laser Man says "Okay, what is it fembot?" which makes even less sense than what I pointed out previously. Only difference is here, I'm sure Laser Man actually wouldn't have said anything at all, maybe a nod or an "Okay."

Yes, and it's not hard to make one either, especially if you change the weight of a ballast from xxkg to -100kg or whatever. But yeah all these custom components aren't exactly legal in tournaments or appreciated in showcases*, just to let you know.
*unless it's a custom component showcase

Thanks to Mac for drawing the characters, Thanks to Aaro for the skins, and I made the rest.  :approve:
Is it a coincidence that "Mac Arata"'s driving photo is on Tarmac (Mac Arata kind of looks like Tarmac) and Harrison Snow's driving photo is on.. well, snow?

Apollyon wedges are what the cool kids use.

Is that chassis height BFE'd? I swear hypnos are smaller in circumference than that and those axels look like they're flatmotors (the dark/black motors that are tall and semi good on mw's and good on lw's)

Slims. Flatmotors are weapon motors on cheatbot2. :P
Yeah, Slimbodies. That's what I meant lol

I keep getting them confused  :p

I was going to say this a while ago;

Scumbag MassimoV: Takes up 10 percent of your signing card; 4 large signatures later: still biggest signature.

(I really really like using semicolons all of a sudden; it's like cocaine)

I second this, having barely noticed the fractures in Fracture's Fracture.

I think from here we should designate someone to edit the picture and whoever wants their signature to be added should be like "hey bro *image*" and then the designated person should be like "okay I've got you down, and I've got her down, and I've got him down and potato." This is probably more or less what Trov just said but I added on to it.

Mike used these wedges before they were cool to use

There's something I don't really like about it but I'm not sure what. It's very clean and really good looking, and I'm loving those wheelguards.

You seem to like asking about source code mods.

We're severely limited (yes that's what I call all our TC and modding lol) by not having the source coding for RA2 and we can only change so much with what we have.

Kossokoi: im old (not really) please inform me about the paint.net sensation

Paint.net is difficult to use if you're already used to Photoshop tools and so forth.
I haven't noticed, but I'm not really a photoshop/paint.net extraordinaire. They just both beat the heck out of using MS paint.

Not sure if this was mentioned before... but the size of the image got lowered from 2000x to 1600x.
Thanks to kossokei.
You're very accusatory.

I did do that though, the image uploader I used must have a limit of 1600x that I didn't know about.

Meh. It's been fixed.

To do that we'd (probably) have to have the source code (more or less)

The Source Code is something that we've been trying to get for a long time iirc, so probably not.

Do you mean to make it so bots don't get counted out at all, or just get rid of the timer that shows up on the screen?
Both, I'm sure.
