Napalm and GBH would look very good, IMO.

I've sent mine too. I don't expect it to win battles, but I'm pretty pleased with what I came up with given the timeframe.

Idea: for the splash, you should ask everyone to put a pic of their robot alongside its inspiration, to really highlight the "evolution" and help the IRL-ness judging. It'll be especially helpful if you're doing an obscure-ish bot like I am.

Site News and Feedback / Re: Tougher people on the boards.« on: June 21, 2013, 01:26:36 PM »I'm not saying im being a whiny bugger about it im just saying that some people take a mile. I would prefer it whenever i logged in i didnt see a single person hating on a fandom that isnt even related to the forum. Other times i see someone being hated on for there view. but generally yes its a nice place. but at the best of times i see someone hating on someone for a silly on the side out the way thing you know? You saw one individual acting out, so what? Don't blow it out of proportion. On this forum you give what you get in terms of respectfulness, and Kid Krusher is no exception to that. If you want admins who are that devoted to stamping out meanness, there are plenty of Christian faith forums to look into. 1247

Yes, that it how you paint the chassis itself, it's more about technique and practice than being a computer wizard. To paint components, here's a tutorial that explains it better than I could:

Can I be a judge if my bot gets booted out by the randomizer?

That's a really clever idea, using a randomizer to cut out the excess.

I did try, but I could never get 123's things to work. The spring is a line of small Drums.

Tanks guys. The arm is a set of exenders and the new skirt from DSL 3.
Here's Mousetrap, it should work like the real one; it hovers in the "open" position thanks to some invisible ballasts 1253

I'm a little foggy on tourney procedures, do you get to skip some of the tournament bureaucracy because you've hosted a lot of tournaments?

I'm playing Black 2 with a team that I hatched on White 1 and gave Pokerus to. They're at level 70 with maxed out EV's and I haven't even reached the Elite Four.

I'm not outlawing it but replica's are not the point of the tournament. That's cool, as soon as I typed that, I thought, "nah, I'll be more adventurous than that." I do have a pretty artsy idea that I think will within the constraints. 1256

This gets my vote. I assume that the bot has to be significantly different, and not just a replica of a Series 6 or 7 bot?

Hopefully the horde battles won't be like wild double-battles, where you can only catch a pokemon if you've fainted the others first.

Grim Reaper. It doesn't look a lot like the original, a fact that I realized when I was in the finishing stages, but y'know, I wasn't in the mood to start from scratch. So I'm not going to include pics of the original, and if you care about me you won't post any here. The youtube videos of it are blurry as all
