Well spotted, Click. That's probably not something I would have initially picked up. =D

Sometimes Ant Batteries can be a godsend. I think that overall they're better than the biggest battery there, PTC something-or-other, the 60 amp one. Six ant batts might be a bit heavier, but you don't have to make the chassis as tall to accomodate them, so you save weight there. I reckon it balances out pretty well.

Ah, okay. Mine sometimes gets lifted up and kicks itself over with the weapon.

That sounds like a Havok Bomb to me. My one-snapper HS does that too sometimes.

I shall return it. =)

Tyrouge looks like a quite good setup. How unstable can it actually get?

My team is done, I'm just getting a hand with the AI. ;)

I decided to have another try at snapper loading, and managed to get myself a one-snapper HS. Only downside, apart from the plastic armour and the low battery life, is that it does have a tendency to randomly drop a Havok Bomb on itself at any point during the match. But more often than not it's relatively smooth running.

HP Z-Teks is around 2 and a quarter units upwards, and almost exactly two units axle-ways, I've found. But yeah, it is pretty much just trial and error with the chassis to begin with, more often than not newbies seem to go with what looks cool rather than what's effective (I'm guilty of that too), but you've definitely got some promise. I think the main thing about your chassis is to have as few sharp angles as you can get away with, while still being efficient with the space, I think it's to do with area rather than volume.

I'm signing up with a team of my own, GK's helping me AI them, so it's going somewhere, at least.

Why do I have the feeling that most people are calling the band Panic at the Disco "Mad as Rabbits"? Mad as Rabbits is the name of the song.

I noticed that too, it is PATD guys (well, PATD in the era they made this song, or P!ATD, if you're going how they are now, or how they were originally. I liked the ! anyway.) , and your comment also confirmed my prediction that Mad As Rabbits is your tune pick :P

Not really, S.T.C. could just be up on his Panic. Or a crazy fanboy. =P

Welcome to the forums, dude. ;)

That actually looks pretty decent for a first bot, to be honest. And Naryar might yell at you for empty space, but I'm fairly sure a little bit doesn't hurt. Maybe put some Iron Spikes out sideways from the extenders for some side protection.

Next thing you might want to try is stacking batteries. Basically where you put one battery in first (preferably a Blackvolt) and then put another one in almost exactly the same place, but a little bit to one side. Saves a good amount of space, and therefore weight for weaponry and such.

I might have a shot at this, but I really haven't the first idea how to AI properly...

Well spotted, Jonzu. ;)

The first number is how many points the song has overall, and the number in brackets is how many points the last person gave them. So 19 (5) means the song has 19 points in total, and was given 5 points by the previous voter.

I wouldn't like to be one of those who went out in round one. Probably will, though, given that I'm really not that great with DSL. But it's good to give it a shot, at least. :D
