Is the SnS good? It's certainly original enough.
So many triangles on it... it should be called Triforce, or Bermuda Triangle, or even Triangle Inequality... something triangly.

Needs moar wedges.
The drive setup is kind of cool, if you're sure that it turns good.
Also, you'd probably be better off rotating the Snapper II's 180 degrees (just the axle mind you, no need to rebuild everything) so the face spinners cover a wider area.

Pretty messy. Needs more drive too,
No need for the ramplates.
Now simply put these two comments together in a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. Result: Pretty messy. Trade the ram plates for more drive.
Also try to get a third Supervolt. Then it will be quite good.

It would require getting into the .exe as far as I know. And while we're at it, might as well increase the amount of time you have for repairs too (or better yet, base component repair time on total HP rather than % HP remaining).

I guess Stratosphere really did deserve the BTRSHDBBDDTBL award. Unless it's just the BBEANS Arena making its wedge magically better like ItI. Edit: Wait, Fight or Flight won the winner's bracket? Shouldn't it be FoF vs. T-One then, not Smashbox?

It's not your fault Jonzu (well, MOSTLY not your fault); the only way you could have found out that you needed to re-download the Small Arena is if you looked in the original Rammer AI v3 thread which is quite old. And the only reason you had Rammer AI v3 in the first place is because I sent it to you for CombatAnts. That said, technically, you should refilm all the fights that had rammers in them. In Badnik's case the lack of collision lines caused him to perform more poorly than he otherwise might have, but in other cases it could actually help, because the AI will stay out of the fight as it backs into the walls and lets the other bots kill each other. However that would be a lot of work and we don't want to hold up the tourney longer than we need to so... just do whatever you think is best. Either way, getting the updated Small Arena for round 2 would be a good idea. If you decide not to refilm any fights, maybe you could do a first-round loser's bracket involving all the bots that lost in round 1, just to give those rammers (and Breakfast ) another chance?

Wow, a fast UHW battle. I guess it can happen.
*notices Badnik vs. Scrap Daddy is next*
*drools in anticipation*

Piercing HS vs. Concussion HS: 1 piercing = 2.2 concussion
Does this mean that... irons are better weapons than maces on HS?
If you just go by stats, then yes... but there are other factors to consider like size. Maces protect the extenders better which might explain why Inf's tests resulted in 36 mace HS beating 36 iron HS.

Already been posted. But I just noticed that Firebeetle mentions Seism 12 in his first post in that showcase. Kinda weird how close that is to Seism 13, and here FB's talking about it when AI tournaments haven't even been conceived of yet... The Seism bots have been around for a long time. Also an interesting quote from Jimxorb showing how much things have changed in stock RA2: Stock in the RA2 world means it came in you botlab as a standard part, the AI parts did not, therefore they are not stock, you can class them as 'stock AI' but not 'standard stock'.

WHAAAAAAAAT!? (BO beating DoA o.o)
Not that surprising really; wedgeless VS are the best counter for popups. BO only lost to Missile Test in BBEANS6 because Missile Test has such a tall wedge combined with ridiculously strong armor. Now Claw Cube beating Infection... I wish that happened when I did BBEANS6! This rerun has been chock full of major upsets and dark horses.

Um, Kevlar is supposed to be a multibot with Superstar... Also, you forgot Double Damage MW and Sabre (both multibots). And Smashbox 2 lost in the first round???

Found one!
If I say the HazCon one I bet only CB will understand. :P
DP: And I have the rest too.
Sounds like you got them all right. Out of curiosity how did you find it - in game, or stumbling upon the right files outside the game?

2 things. Judging by the rammer AI, you (Jonzu) seem to be using my v3 Tactics.py, but not the updated Small Arena with collision lines. Collision lines are absolutely essential for the new rammer tactics for detecting where the walls are so the AI can know to stop driving when they hit a wall. The updated Small Arena is on my website and has been for some time. Here is a link for your convenience: http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/files/small_arena.zipSecondly, you can prevent the F9 window from popping up when you start recording by setting a different hotkey in Fraps. I changed it to F8 so it doesn't trigger anything RA2-related.

Don't worry about me G.K., I'll just sit this one out. DSL HW is probably my least favorite class to build in right now. Otherwise I would have made sure to check the forum earlier to see when signups opened. If there were still open spots I might give it a go, but as it is I'm sure the other people (and you) want in more than I do.

I'm shocked that you somehow defeated AtaxiA. I mean, I know I shouldn't underestimate Kurt Rambis after it went 3-2 (almost 4-2) in BBEANS, but AtaxiA is a juggler. Rammer vs. juggler is almost as much of a guaranteed loss as rammer vs. popup.

Well I'll see what I can come up with, but don't get your hopes up because I've tried to make a new Drumblebee twice and both attempts ended in failure.
If someone else can make a drum bot for Barbershop Chop I would still be OK with that.

what about piercing/concussion vs chassis tests, Click?
That was how I originally came up with the current DP formula. It was a hammer bot I was testing on a bare chassis. The results are still the same. That said, I haven't done static weapons vs. chassis/non-weapons, which would be worth doing... well that makes it interesting.. that said the boosting of damage could work in the favor of Backlash but could be debatable with realism..
123 hadn't got as far as what you have here at the time we were trying to work out a good weapon balance.
As long as you stick with a constant piercing/concussion ratio the components should be balanced. I'm just saying that using pure piercing won't necessarily give spinners any advantage over rammers.

Kurt Rambis (WBP TKO) beats AtaxiA (TKO)
I don't suppose you could be bothered to post brackets? At least a list of bots as they are organized in the brackets?

I was going to say that you could use my Stock's Revenge bot Backyard Gut-Ripper for Backyard Ripper, but yeah, Terramax is probably better since it doesn't use that huge original chassis (despite that huge original chassis having double strength titanium armor).
And what do you mean by
"Barbershop Chop = drum, like tommy gun but better that CLICK builds" Do you mean that only I am capable of building Barbershop Chop?
