Bots like Whirlpool in Starcore v4 and Synergy2/Storm Shock in RoboLeague (save the final) still use the regular boring SnS AI though. And I can't exactly drive like FBS AI in-game. :P

Is it set to "Spin" with a button and not a switch?

I'd prefer not-HW as well. :p

Rammer - Usually really fast and hilarious to watch
VS - I like gut-rippers, plus they can get OOTA KOs
Flipper - OOTA KOs are awesome
Popup - For awesome OHKOs
HS - Tend to be unstable and are fun to watch bouncing around the arena

I don't know why so many people like SnS...they're easy to build and are pretty combat effective, but terribly boring to watch in a match. I may be one of the only ones not voting for how fun they are to build/how combat effective they are though. :P

I don't, and I don't think anyone else votes purely based on splash. But it still plays a role.

Dunno if I deserve to vote in a DSL BOTM, but it's a hard decision between 3 and 5. 6 would have been good with a better name and splash...

I've played it on PC. Best memory was flipping Sir Killalot OOTA with Behemoth several times; I could never do it with another bot. And that WBC was a good flipper as long as you flipped their components and not their chassis, but was painfully slow. Thermidor II, on the other hand...

Exostacking casters isn't difficult. You can see Caster Armoured Popups quite often. But not too bad. I'd try to get DSA on either of them, though. Are they invertible?
Actually I don't even know if it counts as exostacking since it's placed half outside the chassis normally as if it was a regular component being placed inside the chassis. xD Just trying to have a little fun.

Both invertible...chassis are definitely airtight on both, so the only way to get DSA on them would be to use 6 razors and a snowplow on the first one (the snowplow also requires an extender and is a hindrance to the spinner's reach), and replacing the end maces with razors and getting rid of the caster on the second one. Neither really seem like appealing options.

Edit: I already knew the second bot looked like Alter Ego II, but I just realized, the first one looks like Death by Purple 3. And here I was thinking I'd made something a bit more unique. :P

Get Mad's Smartzones. :P I don't know what else you would use...

Okay I'm sure your minds were all blown by that SnapperII popup I posted before so here's some generic stuff to calm you down:

Well, maybe not that generic...THEY'VE GOT EXOSTACKED CASTERS WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT ASDGFHDJKGHAOIGAVOSJBO

Both Plastic. The first one likes getting cool scores:

As for the setup, the lightest one I see is 6 kg of extenders, <various words>
There is a lighter one with 4kg he could use, with a 20cm attached to the SnapperII with the end AP, and the side AP's pointing parallel to the baseplate, then attach another 20cm to the first 20cm using the side AP furthest from the SnapperII, and have it pointing in the same direction as the first one. Like this: ||. The RADs could be attached to the end AP's, and the Z-Teks could be attached to the side AP's closest to the SnapperII. I used the same setup on Singularity, only with an axle mount.
Same, that's what I have on Trine 2.1. :P But that setup, combined with unraised SnapperII = dead invertibility.

God daaaaaaaaamn that is a nice exostack. I just tried to replicate it, but no dice, even with Hax Mode, your movepixel tool, and my 1600 x 1200 resolution all put together. xD Awesome job. Looks very fearsome.

As for the setup, the lightest one I see is 6 kg of extenders, one attached to the secret SnapperII attachment point with its side attachments pointing up, then another one aligned with that extender, attached with the side attachment point. On that extender, you can attach one drive motor and one weapon motor. Then, you can use the other upward-pointing attachment point on the extender directly attached to the SnapperII to attach a third extender that is also aligned with the other two. To this new extender, you can attach the remaining weapon and drive motor. The weapon motors should probably be attached to the attachment points pointing back towards the SnapperII. However, a tiny bit of them will stick out past the SnapperII this way, and you'll lose the protected weapon motors and invincible front unless you can get the motors covered with the snowplow you were going to attach.

Use 6 DDT wedges and cover the entire thing with casters. That should take up some room. :p

I've got you covered. But you could have just asked Dragonfire to do it...

Two versions, one with the Smartzone farther forward (hammer), and one farther back (popup). Not sure which one RPJK was going for.

Angled Disc HS and Wammer may not look particularly appealing to potential takers...perhaps something like Disc HS and Rammer?

Aren't you doing that when you attach components normally inside the chassis? :P

All of the top 10 topics (not including stickies) in Tournament Discussion with checkmarks are DSL.

The only things forumers seem to be trying to avoid are DSL, realism, and the HW class. Just stay with DSL (not sure how many will be satisfied) or do Stock MW/LW/BW/etc. nonrealistic.
