Well, it's made from wood.
Styrofoam actually; the only metal in those discs is the axle and an outer ring with the blades welded on

It's $2.49 right now.  How low are you waiting for it to go?

Can you talk a little more about what exactly this is?  I like to know as much as possible before downloading a zip.

I checked out Dafont and found this:
(Image removed from quote.)
Do you think this is a good font for T.R.A.C.I.E?
Also, can I move threads, or is that a mod privilege. I want to move this to tuts & tips, like I intended it to be in.

Yeah, you can always just draw on a letter if it doesn't look perfect; I do that a lot.  BTW, threads in tuts and tips are tutorials only, not threads asking for help.

All football arenas are the same.  But in robot combat, Britian uses an arena where you can throw your opponent over the barrier, and America uses one where you don't.  The home country has a huge advantage because they get to decide whether or not there will be walls.

I'm trying to skin T.R.A.C.I.E, but my mspaint abilities are lacking. I cannot do the letters properly. Any tips and/or similar fonts?
Before you start skinning, resize the pic to 400%, you can do a whole lot more detail that way.  Sites like Dafont.com have tons of good fonts for free, search for "stenciled fonts" or something.

you should, even if you don't plan on spending a dime.  There's a bunch of free games like a Sam and Max episode.

Is Heroes of Might & Magic 6 any good?  The last one I played was Heroes 3, and while I enjoyed it, all of the campaigns got too hard and I gave up.  Also I can't get the demo because my internet's spotty

Which reminds me, isn't Hardox tough enough to deal with most US spinners?  That's what I heard anyway, ergo it's pointless to build spinners in the UK anymore even if the rules did allow it.

I only know of one British builder who is, and it's more for a lark than serious competition because his bot has a flamethrower.

Yeah, that's it.  I don't know its flipper power off hand, but its SHW counterpart is one of the most powerful, and they said "North America" instead of "America"  or "The US" leading me to believe the robot in question is Canadian.

Quote
Revealed at $1000

This heavyweight competitor is boasting the strongest flipper in North America with its full pressure CO2 flipepr running at 1000 psi

Any Ideas on who?
I won't say it directly to spoil their funding, but I'm pretty certain that it shares its name with the progeny of a well known reggae singer

Interesting.  Indiegogo was the right choice for such a niche project because they keep the money even if they fall short of their goal.  I gave them $50.

Glad I found out about this, truth be told I don't usually read the BOTM.  Are BFE and reskinning of existing components allowed?

Dang, you beat me to it.  I have to say, you'd think the "F--- You Texas" song would stop being funny after the 14th time, but it really doesn't.
