Already proven, it was the dog.

Even the mighty Pussycat couldn't defeat the awesomeness that was post Extreme 1 Bulldog Breed

Definitely worth it. Your skills are truly the next generation of replica building.

is this mod out yet? if so could some one send me a download link even if its a beta :thumbup
I really wish I didn't have to say this...

It has come to my attention that several members of the community have contacted the developers of this mod asking for either
a) Bots to be released early to them
or
b) The bots that will not be added due to the aforementioned legal reasons.

This mod will be released when it is READY to be released, containing all the bots the developers have been ALLOWED to put in - It's not really their choice if they cannot add certain bots. Similarly, the future replicas are all planned, so requests, unless asked for, are NULL AND VOID.
Be thankful for what is coming to the community and be patient. I know the attitudes of many here are grating upon the developers who do all this in their spare time, in a way that too much more may mean this is yet another excellent mod that doesn't make it's way to ANYBODY.
Again, I wish I didn't have to say this, but further actions in the veins of those described above may incur sanctions, as the developers are frankly starting to feel harassed.

So enjoy the previews and look forward to what you will be able to play in the future.

Ooh, that'll look really nice when it's scattered all across the arena.
Hopefully via a method known as "360-ing".  ;)
Excellent replica again though, I don't think there will be a need for custom components ever again once this mod comes out. I'm a particular fan of the smaller NPC motors and the new wheels.

Game Development / Re: My 2 cents on RA3.
« on: September 12, 2014, 11:57:08 AM »
What needs to happen, if you're serious about this, is all of the current splinter game projects on Robot Combat have to cease production, or at least be put on the back burner. It's a hard truth, but if we've got 20 people each working on their own Unity project then we're never going to get anywhere. We need to get all of these people to combine their expertise together and work on one bona-fide, easy to use, realistic robot combat simulator. If the creator of BotApp didn't lose his code, we probably wouldn't be having this discussion right now, but we are, so that's our best hope.

Not to bug you or anything, but will we be getting any "clean" skins for each of the robots, without the scratches and dents? These look cool and nearly unreal as always, but I would like it if we had that option.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: The General Chatter Thread.
« on: September 09, 2014, 04:38:29 PM »
Solution to all of these problems:
>Store stuff on home computer
>Have HDD of everything at home
>Have another HDD of everything somewhere else near where you live but in a remote location like a storage unit
>Get Dropbox/OneDrive or both or more and dump as much as you can on there

All bases covered.

Oh man I had like all the games, Velocity X was my favourite because of the storyline and the sheer amount of collateral damage you could cause.

use round extenders only, pinks are useless on lightweights and up.

needs another black battery. probably needs 4WD HPZ unless you are willing to heavily armor your bot

you can also change these T-extenders to round extenders as well

I think you could mount the wheels internally
bad advice, don't listen to it, mostly because it is a waste of weight and lowers turnspeed as well
Note that I said "you could". In spite of those sacrifices, you would get protection from spinning and ramming weapons. Unless you can prove to me that there is no benefit whatsoever with internal wheels, my point is gonna stay.

Getting better, but I think you could mount the wheels internally and get everything nice and symmetrical.

It's been a while but I think you have to make a certain amount of posts, like 5 or 10. Could be wrong, but I believe this is the case.
