Who me or Naryar or were you referring to someome else? I admit to doing most all of that list except BFE (I refuse to do that) and I don't know everything about the game. Locked engine makes it a game of reverse engineering and there are many nooks and crannies that have been discovered over the years. Starcore

I also removed the 2nd plow and the bottom caster armor from the one that was used for this tourny. I think you would agree Pwnator, not an easy task to replicate or out do the design. As to the more agressive AI: Was carefully tuning the AI line for maximum turn rate without overturn, minimum hazard avoidance taking into account chassis size, testing turning in vs turning out vs both spin clockwise or counter clockwise since it is an asymetrical design, considering and testing the 3 maces per extender on one spinner vs the other, reviewing various behavioral responses of Omni vs Omni Ram vs some of the other choices available vs writing new AI for the right blend of charge, pull back, clinch, and deciding if it was worth it to track the weapons numbers for switching to Pusher AI (rarely worth worrying about). What was with Turn abouts fair play. It abandoned Fury every match.
Got out of the way so Fury could do what Fury does best and thats not even the latest greatest Fury. Starcore
O: What in the world could you do more to that thing?? *Sage is excited*
I tweaked quite a bit since when this tournament started. In Wild Robots Live 2 https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=3899.0 Pod F you can see the newest edition of Fury. I made the AI more aggressive and increased the mace count 25% while keeping the front plow and DSA armor. I could be wrong but I think most will have a hard time replicating or out doing this MW HS design. <<Need HS Smileys>> Starcore

I am glad you like my bots. I get involved in pretty much every Stock Tournament that rolls around that doesn't want something too weird or exotic. Doing my best to hang on and stay involved with you all. I am glad AI tournaments are hitting their stride and do wish some were a bit faster from round to round to hold interest and activity. I personally never worry about a prize. The building, sending in to fight, seeing the results and status of winning a tournament is the majority cool part. Starcore

Fury is my tightest, most powerful and aggressive MW that I have ever built. I did lots of testing in 1on1 and 4-way rumbles and he would frequently win against a wide variety of Rammer, Poker, HS and Pop-up foes.
But all it takes is a lucky knock off of a weapon motor early, or a clean trap and smash by a pop-up and its all over.
So we will see how it goes.
I have high hopes that Fury will go far.
Let loose the dogs of war!

A webcam is a of alot cheaper to acquire than any amount of travel. And for those that were unable to procure or install a webcam, yes they could voice and/or text for the conference. As to things we could do in such a meeting. * Meet&Greet time (see the people you have been chatting with for months to years) * Show off real life projects (bots built or being built, Gundam collections, Lego replicas of RA2 bots) * Discuss types of tournaments we all would like to do (voice and video chat can do in minutes what can take weeks to months of forum chat) * Teamwork brainstorm on projects that have been dormant or non-starters (Wiki, new AI packs, new Arenas, mods, RA2 Servers) Yes it could be done multiple times at different times of the day to accomodate people that were unable to attend prior sessions. And yes the shy could watch the recap videos, or get up the nerve and/or HW to attend the next one in greater depth. Starcore

Getting even some of us to a face-to-face may be extremely difficult. (ACAMS and I almost overlapped while I was at a business convention for Intel in Louisana) There is other ways to consider that could happen, like a Webcam virtual conference. There is software that gathers multiple webcams to a group session. Food for thought... Starcore

That's because there is no set order for bindings, just add lines of bindings at the bottom.
Technically alphabetical order
There is another file you need to manipulate if you want to add more teams to an AI set. Would be easier to replace an existing team but the choice is yours. If you have your heart set on adding teams I or one of the pack makers that are still around can teach you how. I would have to rediscover it but would not take long. Starcore

It doesn't in DSL either. I recall telling everyone that and not many believing me :P
Replacing is an easy thing to do in stock otherwise just get Starcore as it has the python arranged like DSL (since I believe Starcore was the one who did it)
Yes I invented that organization structure for Starcore AI and DSL. Starcore

http://www.starcore.gametechmods.com/download.php?id=StarcoreAIPackV3.rar&url=/ That should link you to the Starcore V3 AI Pack. Install a fresh RA2 onto your computer, patch to the most recent levels and using WinRar or your favorite file extractor that can handle .RAR files, unpack this AI pack to the main RA2 folder. You can't just copy just the Starcore AI folder in a default RA2 package. Default RA2 only handles 3 bots per team. Starcore AI packs have 6 bots per team. You can get links to the other versions of my Starcore AI packs from the links in my signature. Starcore

I am a fan of best 2 out of 3 and first to win twice in 4 bot rumbles. Minimizes wild victories. You can probably see why... Starcore

I know I was not involved in the initial sign-up. If you have openings from people falling out, let me know and I would be glad to submit a bot. Starcore

Thanks for the nice words on Triceratops. Most did not seem to understand its design. The front weapon was chosen for having twice the HP of a Razor Tip, Same Damage, and wide enough to protect the connector behind it. Designed for ramming with side Razor Tips to protect wheels and scrap on drive by attacks. In lots of testing it got past and defeated bots that had various versions of 3 razor tips to the front. I do admit I designed Triceratops to fight 1:1 for 3 minute battles and win against most Antweight Designs. Starcore

Seems to me Clickbeetle and Robosh4rk are on target that other people are just as likely to determine what they feel is a signature bot of a person. Fury has been mentioned for me while I would have thought just as likely these days people would think Tempus Fugit, Maelstrom, Spin Doctor, Alien Queen and/or T-800 Terminator. For that matter I would not be surprised if for many, my "Signature Bot" are the Starcore Packs. Starcore (Been gone for awhile, hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years!)

We can suggest to ACAMS about setting the forum posts background to White so we can use the White Text as hidden Combat Results again.
