Hey look I still remember how to make stuff
![]() It's just a couple things so far, but I'm working on putting more attachment points on all the stock extender section components. All the sizes of disks are done, and you can't tell but all the attachment points have a matching one on the other side of the disk. I'm working on the extenders now. And also for some reason the extender is blue event though I didn't change the material at all. The compiler does that for other components without textures and I can't figure out how to fix it. This isn't really a mod yet, but more of an.... extension. (Joke of the year) And this ![]() ![]() I abandoned my old UI project because I didn't like the look of it, and it was just sloppy. The buttons and the backdrop were all rendered in blender, and the background was made in Paint.net EDIT: I fixed the color problem by making a solid color bitmap texture, and I finished all the round extenders (both red and black). 125

This is just insane! Can all those random spinners even reach other bots?

I'm putting my ui up for download so you can tell me what to change.
This still isn't finished, but here's what I have so far. If there is anything you think that could be better, tell me so I can fix it. I mean anything, like a border, a button, etc. The style might not all match up yet, but it's still in an early(ish) stage. I'm thinking about making the background (everywhere except the main menu) a hexagon pattern. 131

I'll try everything in the wheelmotorcycle folder. Right now I'm doing the dsl wheels
EDIT: Finished the DSL, cobra, and ford wheels; working on motorcycle wheels. 132

Try running it as an administrator or setting it in Windows XP compatibility mode. If that doesn't work then I don't know how to help you (I've never heard of that game)

DP OF POWAH
Here's the new mainmenu. The next thing I'll post will probably be a new wheel. 134

I guess I could make it a little bigger, or maybe just get rid of the stuff in the background and get battle shots like NFX said.

Thanks everyone!
@Hercules - I'll put up the DL after it's finished. After all, it's only the main menu so far. Here's a big image dump for ya. So... that's it for now. Any thoughts? Yes the background isn't finished. EDIT: Should I post UI stuff in a different thread? 136

Thanks!
So this isn't a component, but I don't know where to put it. (It's a big-ish picture) 139

It does, kind of.

I would do that Hworf spike thing, but I don't have enough details.
Maybe I'll make the attachment points able to have weapons attach to them as well as attaching to extenders. This next one is fairly simple. ![]() I took the model from the cannonball, which fit the collision mesh perfectly. |
