I know one person here may like the idea I have for the Lightweight entry if they can catch on to the name. "From the United States of America: Eviction Notice"

I have been letting the welder and toolbox in my garage gather dust for way too long now. That and some of my current bots are pretty well up there in miles. I just may build another metallic menace in the garage....

5. Any NASCAR game when you're at Daytona or Talladega. Your in the middle of the pack or just behind a large group of cars, and all of the sudden all you see is tire smoke. It's The Big One.
4. Need for Speed. Flying down the highway at high speeds and a cop swings out in front of you and drops spikes right in front of you.
3. Team Fortress 2. Turning a blind corner as a Scout, only to come face to face with an enemy Engineer nest full of Level 3 Sentry Guns.
2. Minecraft. Whenever you're minding your own business, whether you're mining or building and you suddenly hear the hissing of a Creeper behind you.
1. Left 4 Dead 2. The first time the entire group I was in escaped in the bridge finale on the Parish campaign.

Then of course Deadblow has made a few guest appearances on Mythbusters a few times. Like to have gotten chomped on by an alligator in one episode.

My bots are actually named "Racecar" and "Racecar Backwards"
Maybe as a grudge match after the tourney, maybe your bots and my Hot Rod could have a free for all. A demolition derby so to speak?

Here's a thread for any appearances of robots or robot combat in other TV shows
Team Coolrobots had their bot Knee Breaker guest star as a murder weapon on CSI. The victim, murderer, and accused happened to have the same names as the team members (Christian, Luke, Brian). Read into that what you will.
Also the murderer's robot was Toe Crusher. It apparently was obliterated by Knee Breaker.

I think Diesectpr and a couple of other bots were in the same CSI episode above. They were fighting in a cage and what not.
Toro and Overkill were seen fighting each other if I'm correct

Bots look good, but one piece of advice I could add is to add their own custom paint schemes. To do this just simply go to the paint shop in-game, export your robot's template, exit the game, open the custom textures file, and select the robot you want to edit using your favorite picture editing software (ex: Microsoft Paint)

Any plans on entering Battlebots 9 AS? Don't worry about me, I've long gotten over that fight we had in the heavyweights last season.

Stephen King's movie Maximum Overdrive used this song. AC/DC - Who Made Who. Movie was the inspiration for my first robot in the garage, Road Boss.

Well if you pay attention to automotive news you may have heard about the sinkhole that swallowed 8 historic Corvettes in the National Corvette Museum. Well yesterday they hauled out the last one and it's planned for a short time to display them as is and later send them to GM for restoration. Unfortunately I personally don't think that's possible with half of them. The "Blue Devil" ZR1, 1962 Corvette, 1993 40th Anniversary, and the 1,000,000th Corvettes were fished out with minimal damage to them, they were able to start up the ZR1 after it was hauled out. The other four though, the PPG Pace Car, ZR1 Spyder concept, the 1,500,000th, and Mallet Hammer Corvettes, I honestly can't say they can be saved and are unfortunately destined for a junkyard. The only way I can see for these cars to be seen again is to try and salvage the VIN numbers off them and rebuild them from existing Corvettes. Surprised this thread went cold with all of the fights that have happened over the years. I'll jumpstart this with this fight. All I can say this was the last thing that Team Loki expected, not to mention just about anyone else watching.

I was scrolling back through my posts and got back to the Battlebots 6 tourney post and saw your old Need for Madness robots. I was somewhat hoping for a follow up for them, especially M A S H E E N. Just a suggestion, but can you see about creating new or improved Need for Madness robots? Just a thought.
