Razer needs a complete rebuild from the ground up to be effective in this day and age. That scoop won't do much.

In addition, you've only made 5 posts and haven't shown you can either a) Make a robot or b) Stay around long enough to actually run a tournament. I suggest making a showcase, showing off some robots you have made in RA2 and watching other tournaments as they unfold so you can get an idea as to how they run.

You're not ready, young grasshopper.
I jumped straight into doing tournaments when I first joined :P Give him the benefit of the doubt (if he can sort out the following problems.)

After 5 posts over 3 weeks and not showcasing a single robot or entering any other tournaments?

Rules:
First time a havok explosion decides a match, the match will restart.  The second time, the match will continue.

So there's basically no punishment for havoking? Traditionally havoking too much means you forfeit the round/match.

Guldenflame will be AIing.  Not me, so if possible, send your robots to him.

Arena: First DSL tournment arena.

When bracket is relieved, PM either me or Guldenflame on which weapon to use.

If Guldenflame is doing the hard bit, why isn't he hosting it? The last thing we need is yet another idea for a DSL 2.2 IRL Tourney by someone who isn't capable of running it.

Signups close in 27 days or so.

And people should send me entrants.

We have our first entry that isn't me! It's something.

My entry to ¡Toreo!

Fear my anti-realism

132
As soon as i've tweaked the arena a bit and made my own entry for this one.

133
I wondered how long that would last, I've changed it to something slightly more family friendly.

I've bejazzled my Completely Unrealistic New Tournament! Read the now updated OP.

Basically, new name, new look, new arena, multibots are allowed and no cap on entrants anymore. Oh my.

I have created a new poll, but changed it to a straight yes/no answer. As Ironforge is the one true game mode and I spent too long on this bloody arena.

Actioncam is overrated. I've never used it.

I like it, not sure about the sloped back though.

If you need any GIMP help, let me know. It's what i've used for every graphic/image in my tournaments, my showcases etc

This robot has got a weaker jaw than leafy, which is a shame.

Bugger me there are a lot of robots here. I'm going to do a whistle stop tour of the robots that interest me.

Ironforge
090901: Apart from the name, it's a solidly built robot. I do like that flipper wedge setup on the burst motor.
Geice: It's going to be interesting to see how this one does, there are a fair few exposed lids here. It's solidly built, I just hope that the wedges are up to snuff.
Lightning S: Confession time: I wanted to make a robot like this initially. I don't like the asymmetrical weapons (dat extender) and the fact it spins outwards, though. I would have flipped the direction on them, personally. Still looking forward to this one.
Mr. AS: Ah! The ol' 123 Chassis popup. Possibly my favourite robot here that isn't mine. If I were a betting man, I would put money on this one to win, actually. One to watch out for.
Reier: A nicely built vs/gutripper with a less common chassis shape. Not sure about that wedge, though. It's it great then god help us all.
Squirrel Monkey: Of course he remade V=IR! You can take the man out of DSL 2.1...
Ty4er: I'm embarrassed I didn't think of this idea. This will do well, just get used to 3 minute matches.

Stock
Boyasianboy: I've always liked the large chassis style popups and this is no exception.
Fracture: A very clean build that I think should do quite well.
Frezal: If it had a bit of a wedge then I would love it. Right now i'm expecting it to get flipped around a lot.
Geice: Child's Play grew up! Geice can build, the sky is still blue.
Mr. AS: I really like the look of this one, I presume there's a small popup rack in there?
Joeblo: Really nice skinwork, as always. I question the back extenders though.
R01: The most unique bot here, and if i'm honest one i'd rather not face.
Reier: i liek ur bot
Ty4er: Not enough weapons for my liking on this one, but still a solid build.

I am not sure who I would put my money on in the stock bracket, there are a lot of good robots there.

Also, I believe Everything You Know Is Wrong! is quite possibly the oldest robot in the competition, dating back to June 2011? Correct me if i'm wrong on that. I entered him again because it's the only good Stock middleweight i've ever made. I thought for the first ever official GTM tournament, i'd tryhard a bit.

I wanted to try and make an effective LW sawbot and Lily the Pink is what I came up with. It look a bit underweaponed, but there a re a few robots that I should reek havoc on.

Looking at my bracket draws, the RA2 gods were looking favourable upon me today.

Stock
Round 1 vs Fedora Borealis (Wakkydude): For fear of sounding cocky, I fancy my chances here. Back to the friend zone you go, white knight!
Round 2 vs Death Comes Ripping (Frezal): This robot has got a weaker jaw than leafy, which is a shame. If it had better wedges I would probably give the matchup to him. This is all presuming the black background isn't hiding some small wedges somewhere. I wish him the best of luck against some horizontal spinners.
Round 3 is where things could go south pretty quickly. Badnik's and Kurt's robots could prove troublesome while Reier would come down to the wedges.

Ironforge
Round 1 vs BARRY BEE BENSON (Mechadino): There is a god.
Round 2 vs Herbert (Boyasianboy) or Miniflip (R01): Out of the two, I would want to face Herbert more. Miniflip has a more exposed chassis, but one good flip could send me flying. Hertbert is more damaging, but if I can get around the sides I can mince him. Not sure about my chances in this one, honestly.
Round 3 is going to be hell for me whoever I face, if I make it there. That bit of the bracket is pretty stacked (090901, Ty4er, Badger)

Overall i'm looking forward to the tournament and how it plays out. There was a great turn out and it'll be a blast to watch.

Not sure. At the moment i'm not sure whether to uniformly raise the sides 2-3 times the current height at least, or raise some parts much higher while keeping other parts reasonably low like the new Robot Wars arena.
