Use another wedge design. Hell, get a static wedge if you have to.

I'll try a metal hinge wedge.

It's been a while.

That's just a prototype, NPC Fasts send it flying, and the wedge needs work. Could also trim it down a little bit more too. Anything else need work?

Why can't we all just discuss it now?
Because I have no way to judge how many are interested.

You know, we could just get a single team and play some matches on TF2lobby.

I'd be down as a Europe Engie or Medic. Backup Spy also.

Having a schizophrenic guy live 3 houses down from you is of great benefit. He scares the kids away with his yelling at the fireworks.

what exactly are we debating here, as in what is the robot wars-related subject at hand

Offer suggestions, though I do have an idea for the first one. I just need more interest.

Rules will be put in place for that, so don't worry.

Real Robotics Discussion / The Robot Wars Debate - General Discussion
« on: October 31, 2013, 09:46:05 AM »
Seeing as this section is fairly dead, I've decided to take a spin at trying to give it some life, in the form of a debate section on Robot Wars, along with Battlebots the most successful and prominent robotic combat show in history.

How will this work? Basically, I'll be asking for 6 people to take a side, creating 2 sides of 3. There will be quality control on who gets these slots (for example, a coherent poster will beat out a Sylandro for a certain slot). Anyone else is welcome to post in the thread, but they mustn't overshadow the 6 individuals discussing the subject at hand. I will also post as a neutral voice in an attempt to point out flawed logic, but otherwise, I will remain silent. After a certain amount of time, non-participants may vote in the thread, bolding the name of the team they think won the debate (in the event of a tie, I will unbalance the vote). After a winner has been determined, the next debate will be set up and priority will be given to those who did not participate last time.

This is the general discussion thread for the events. Post any ideas for topics you wish to debate (I already have one on the subject of TAN) and give me feedback if you wish to partake in a debate. Ask any questions too.

We need to revive this. Our TF2 community died a painful death and this could be a good way to bring it back.

If you need any extras to fill up some spots, I've got a couple of other bots too. That is if you're OK with that.

It is my opinion that the graphics should be at least good enough to run one's favorite game on medium settings without lag.

Unless it's an absolute monster of a game, most graphics cards can do that easily.
intel integrated 4xxx

Most integrated graphics cards suck anyway.

Call it Scarecrow, and that's fine.

Though I think I gave it Titanium armor as per the rules of Jonzu's tourney. I'll check that out now.

I'll enter Mayhem and King of the Hill too if that's OK.
