Pardon me, but if I hadn't been talking to Conraaa about what a turd Sylandro's server was, this server wouldn't have ever existed.
Oh and if Sparkey and Noodle could send me ~$30 to reimburse me for my account, that would be great. I contacted Customer Support and they said my username didn't even exist.
Consider the following: - Sparkey had no involvement in using the password you idiotically provided to us log in to everything you owned.
- I don't know why the account doesn't exist, I didn't delete it or anything of that nature.
- I wouldn't give you the money even if I did knowingly delete it.
- If I were you, I'd be thanking me considering all I did was screw with your YouTube and Facebook rather than use your email to ruin you financially.
- The next point is me laughing at the fact that you were actually dumb enough to provide the password to everything you own to some random person on the internet.

So are we going to continue denying that this game is dying or what? The number of people who have been entering BOTM's has been slowly decreasing, and now we're at one entrant (who is probably ACAMS anyway.) At this rate I honestly can't see this game having more than a year or two left in it.
Hey guys let's all now just say how much the community is dying when we are doing nothing to stop it from dying.
Why bother? Wanna create a new game? It's not good enough if it doesn't have soft body physics that don't exist yet. Wanna create a new mod? Good luck finding documentation on how to mod the game. Wanna create a new bot? Everything's been done already, unless you do IRL (which is a complete waste of time). Either way most people don't care. Wanna create a new tournament? Few will enter. The problem is with the community as a whole, and it's not going to be fixed by one singular person.

It's definitely both (the theme and the dead community). For instance, I remember back when I made this:  Even with people still making BoTM's on a regular basis, I believe that particular "tank themed" contest got 3 entries. These sorts of BoTMs are never popular, I don't know why ACAMS decided it was a good idea to do this. As for the community, well we all know it's pretty much ****ed. I've given it some thought and I was gonna write up this big post about whats wrong with the community and how to fix it, but I genuinely don't give a enough of a **** (and I don't think anyone else does, for that matter).
If you want more BoTM entries, one thing you can try is offering some sort of prize for the winner. One good idea would be to let the winner of one month's BoTM pick the theme for the next one.
