Yeah, I felt the same way about it when I used to do it. However, I prefer cars and more specifically high-performance stuff, like Rally cars and Grand Tourers, so working on them is like a dream. I've worked on them before, and they're amazing to have in front of you, and you keep adding to it and it becomes this powerful machine out of nothing but fabricated parts.

What course are you doing?
Animation Design, resuming Late September.
Sounds like fun. I don't have the tolerance for animation, but I used to do it in flash. Lost a lot of motivation for things, though, so it's not surprising that I haven't the foggiest idea how to do it anymore.

It's insane that our expectations of each other are blown out of the water when we learn that we aren't just text on the computer.
We communicate with people online through forums a lot, yet we don't bother to learn even the simplest things about eachother...very odd, when you think about it.

IBM. Each pallet was a ton and a half.
Damn. Heavy. And expensive. Server and network stuff is surprisingly expensive, too...my dad makes mock-ups of networks with old equipment, and he'd be dealing with 10s of Gs at a time in equipment. And this is the old stuff.

Have you ever misjudged something in your life?
Nobody's perfect, especially not companies. They can't predict precisely what will happen particularly on a large scale, so considering how they managed to arrange with all the publishers to remove DRM, I reckon they did pretty well to correct such a thing.
