Fix your bots and re-post them so you can learn instead of ignoring everybody and posting the same quality bots.

Actually, only one black is required for that, especially if it's a table top bot. Anyways, wedges are super important, and switch to rubber wheels.

Alright, good. Which LWs have the best wedges?

S_M > Doomkiller: DK's weapons look way too fragile to use, especially while chained vs a bot with ~150 kg in weaponry.
Sage < Robo: 4WD + longer wedges C: Clickbeetle > Sparkey: Wedges JD > Badnik: Flipped emergency wedges with slims. Chances are Badnik's bot won't get under. GK < Larrain: Unstable vs. After the first hit, it'll flop around and hit the top of GK's bot. Rolo > LLB: I can't see LLB's bot that well so I'll just give it to the better built bot. Powerrave < SD: Wedge Joeblo > Pwn: Two popups on a team is a very good strategy to use, especially when there are no HS. 126

@ Sage, it kinda ruins the point of a wedge though when there's something blocking it. Using the chassis to stack weight on works easily as well. I never really liked blades anyways, I'd only use them whens there's virtually no other way to invest my weight since I don't see exactly how it protects the extenders.

Still space but that's good for now. One black powering two Rupting DDTs and two HPZ is not good. Also, make it symmetrical by flipping one of the DDTs.

Still too wide, and add more weapons. If you add a third flipper then add another black.

Discussion / Re: Robots Types« on: February 27, 2010, 07:14:12 PM »Quote from: Clickbeetle Some bots obviously evolved from others, like flippers->popops->true popups. But others are more confusing. Did jugglers come from HS's, or from popups? And what would the ancestor of all bots be? Funny you mention that because I was considering making one. 130

Can somebody link me a copy of Enfil3d and Hazcon for wedge testing? Thanks.

Chassis is still enormous.

Well if you don't want your bots to improve then that's fine by me.

Smaller chassis. The top is way too high too and stack the blacks.

Lower the RADs a notch, and downgrade to a pink. After that, then lower the chassis. Dunno how much weight you have left but if you can put 4 weapons, then just use a single baseplate anchor with a T connecter and two extenders sticking out to attach them.

Blue snappers suck unless you plan to work with them for hours on end.
