Where can I find the download link to Wham's RW arena? :S
https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/5072RWArena.rar
There you go, you can install it on top of the original one.

Was poking around in some RTC3 videos and found this as a custom prop for the dune buggy in the game.

Can't believe I didn't notice this until now, actually! Awesome to see Growler in there.

the lack of invertibility and huge ground clearance will really make it suffer if it comes up against a flipper.

Oh, Dig. What's he like, 'ey?  :gawe:
Indeed. Mr Dig for President!

That robot has only one possible name: DreamWorks.
Indeed. Definitely got the DreamWorks face going on, there.

I'll also provide my views on each of the competitors in the order they appear-

ty4er and Lord Chromium- Me gusta. I particularly like the use of a Spinner Shell for the chassis, and it looks pretty well-armed and protected. The small wheelbase might make it a bit vulnerable to flipping, though.

Dragonsteincole and Mortis 2- I like the use of the Judge Panels to make the 'fins' on the back, and it looks pretty strong with the dual-weaponry configuration. The wedge looks a bit steep to be practical though, and how does it cope with self-righting?

Mike and Sabretooth 2- No offence Mike, but I'm not really keen on this design- it looks a bit too spindly and unrealistic. Self-righting is there at least, and the double discs do look to have some potency behind them, but skirt hinges? Skirt hinges?

GF93 and Tempest- In testing, this one was pretty good- it's pretty quick, has a much stronger flipper than Bloody Tosser before it due to the Steel Plates rather than just the flipper components, and is well-suited for self-righting and flipping opponents OOTA. As long as I can keep the motors under the flipper from getting hit, hopefully I should do OK. Just in case you're wondering, the name is a reference to the Hawker Tempest, one of the most powerful Allied fighter aircraft of World War 2.

Craig and Rest In More Pieces- RIMP RIMP RIMP! Seriously though, it looks to be a solid enough design with a decent-looking disc on it, and invertibility to give the flippers trouble. The skin could've been a bit more detailed, though.

MassimoV and Ripper 2- Looks like a pretty interesting departure from the original, but I can definitely see the best bits of Ripper here, with the big scoop flipper and protected chassis, on top of invertibility and lowness. When AIed however, does it run upside-down or self-right?

Mazakari and Reptirron the Third- Quite different from the original- it reminds me of a hybrid of the first two Gravediggers as well as Reptirron. I like the skin though, that's pretty nifty.

Rob and Sumpthing 2- I don't know why, but there's something quite biomechanical about this one- it reminds me of a mechanical spider with all those legs. Nevertheless, it looks well-protected enough, but the lack of invertibility and huge ground clearance will really make it suffer if it comes up against a flipper.

Mystic2000 and Second Splinter- I could definitely see this one being a new Splinter in terms of design, so props to you there- and for being a little more ambitious with the name rather than just slapping a 2 on the end! Its defence looks solid enough, but absolutely no effort was put into the skin, and it lacks attacking power with only those stock pickaxes for weapons. If it can push though, it might have a chance.

Thy and Exterminator- This one definitely looks like the Spinner to beat for the competition. Can't say I really like the exposed wheels, but the skin's not too bad, and it should be a good contender if its speed and agility are up to scratch.

Plasmic and 86457 2- The skin could be better, but this one looks like a relatively decent flipper. Should be OK if the wedges work, but the Flipper parts look a bit flimsy, which could pose problems for it if its fights drag on.

Boombabyboom and Thunder- God, I hate this design. With no resemblance to the original Storm II, skirt hinges, spindly framework, and overall looks unbalanced and vulnerable to flippers, this rendition is bad, and you should feel bad. Also, WHY IS IT AMERICAN. WHY.

Sonny and GBH3- Looks absolutely fantastic with the Formula 1-style design, particularly with that rear wing and the paintjob. The lack of a scrimech could ultimately be what does it in however, and are its attacking abilities up to par?

Jonzaloo and Eric 2- I've got say, you definitely had me fooled with this one. It's a really nice compact design overall, particularly with the paintjob and the wide flipper. What power is behind the flipper, though? That could be what makes or breaks it, here.

Just finished Porco Rosso.

Made me laugh numerous times, awe-inspiring, interesting characters, a good film overall.

...Until the ending, who is just plain disappointing to watch. Wait, who am I kidding, there's NO ending.

I mean, Porco and Curtis go prepare themselves to fight the italian air force... and then bam, epilogue. No final battle, no dénouement, no sense of finishing a story.

Feeling pretty disappointed by that. It's like you're in the final pages of a book and there's nothing as a final chapter.
Just watched it myself actually, and I have to agree. A great film overall, but there wasn't really as much of a sense of closure to it as I'd hoped- granted, you do see what happened with most of them, but you don't really find out what happened to Porco afterwards. Mind you, I did hear that they are planning a sequel (Porco Rosso- The Last Sortie) set during the Spanish Civil War with an older Porco, so if that gets made, maybe we'll see then. I'd watched the English dub as well, so it was quite awesome to hear Tim Burton's Batman (Michael Keaton) doing the voice of Porco.

I also watched the Japanese version of Grave of the Fireflies beforehand- it's definitely one of the most heart-wrenching films I've seen, particularly when
. Really gives a sense of the cruelty and horrors of war from a civilian persepective, and at the same time the price of pride over responsibility. I didn't cry, but it was very emotional.

How about something like this for the inside? It worked well for a remade version of Vlad the Impaler's srimech I tried in DSL2, so perhaps it might do here as well.
(Image removed from quote.)

Ooh, looks plausible. It might lag the arse off the game but its worth a try!  :rage
Excellent. It didn't lag too much when I tried it with Vlad, so hopefully it should be alright.

Robochicken and Iron Awe look fantastic too, I must say. They should be great once they're in the game.  :D

GBH was going to have a srimech in its tail, but I couldn't install it in an irl-esque fashion that would allow it to work.  The draw could've worked out better for me
It's still an incredibly cool design though Sonny, so that's good.

GBH3 and Thunder, eh? Excellent. Without trying to sound too cocky, I'm quite liking my chances- both look pretty vulnerable to Tempest's flipper.

Ron.  I wanted to do this one for the longest time, and now BFE makes it possible.
(Image removed from quote.)
Very nice. I should point out though, that it's missing the horizontal Saw Blade at the back- other than that though, it's pretty much spot-on!

Some sort of time clock would be appreciated; surely it's not impossible to move forward without the mystery person's vote.
Indeed. If it's just one person, then surely it shouldn't matter too much.

Also, good news for GoldenFox. I change the weightclass to Heavyweight. The reason is mainly because we can get bots with stronger armors, which adds more realisticness IMO.
Only just found this, but woohoo, that's good to hear! I'll see if I can build something good with that.
This is old news. Check out the rules. I switched it to Cruiserweight since it won the poll.
Oh. Sometimes I do have a habit of starting on older pages for some reason, but Cruiserweight's still a good amount of weight for me to use.
