After seeing that upset in round 2, I was thinking that there should be a Razor Guy award, for the robot that best exceeds all expectations from the community. It would be nice recognition for bots like Insult to Injury and the like that go on completely improbable winning streaks or pull off massive upsets.
GK did something like that in the BTTB Thread, I can't remember the name, though. It was a ridiculous acronym, much like the BTRSHDBBDDTBL award. And I'm pretty sure that Roboshark's going into the third round, though with the recent upset, I won't hold anything out. I reckon I might be able to beat Deonychisus if I'm a little bit lucky. AtaxiA...I'm screwed.

Woo, Go Rammstein. =D
Good matches so far, Thyrus. I lol'd at the second elimination in Heat B. XD

That, Click, would be because of my awesome extender setup.

I love the "TILT" decal on the back. I doubt that was intentional but TiLT was a multi account of Sage (who of course built Pinball).
I didn't know that part, I just thought it was a Pinball term for when you bash the machine too hard.

Oh, okay, I thought you were going to tweak it or something. It's still cool, let's team up. =P

I'll have a stab at the rumble. Just for the lols. XD The original S!H can die proudly in battle.

Badnik and I might be teaming together, Stag. Just a heads up. Also, what do the colours on the front page mean?

I guess not. =P Would be regarded as a measure of confidence.

I thought the two DDT's with the popup arms on were for selfrighteousness. So two Small Wedges on one DDT would work fine. And the front DDT wouldn't be doing anything, so 4 HP Z-Teks, 2 DDT's and 2 Snappers...2 Blackvolts sounds roughly right, in my view.

That looks like quite a good popup. =) Decent protection on the front, too, but some of the more well-built HS's are still gonna eat the edges poking out. I, and Blizzard 2, know this. Only improvement I can think of, try and get the chassis as tight as you can around the components, and try to get Rubbers on there. Gives you better wedges, I believe, provided you know how to build them right.
I'm sure there must be a curve of Razor Tip quantity vs. Damage Potential somewhere. It strikes me that the more razor tips there are, the slower they'll move, and the less damage they'll cause. It's just a case of finding where the biting point is. Seism 13 only had 10 Razors, am I right?

Interesting design, I don't think I've seen one like this while I've been here. First thing to get the weight down would be to use only one DDT for the wedges, that save you a good 20+kg right there, I'm not sure if it only needs two Blackvolts, though, you might have to ask someone else on that. Maybe lose the plow on the top, I'm not sure it's completely necessary, it should fare just as well without.
Also, where did the other two ramplates on the front go? =O

Any chance of a shot from the back? =)
And I think some of the attachment points of some components are a little off, like the Extra Small Multi Extender. I reckon Backlash Discs should be fine like that. How damaging is it?

I'm not sure why, but I felt compelled to make a rebuild of Sage's Pinball machine. Maybe it was due to BTTB2, and I liked it. But I was screwing around in the bot lab, trying to make something cube-shaped, but ended up making a very small chassis (also utilising the megalow chassis glitch) and building a LW SnS around it. Not as damaging as I'd like to be, but has de-weaponed and defeated every LW it's come up against so far.

Mud Runners have high fracture, so if he wants to use it with DRIVE VERSION E-teks it's fine.
I started out with Mud Runners on Valid Query 2, and Grog took all of them off in around 29 seconds. Also, it's a big improvement from 1001 Problems, but still a lot to learn. I reckon Badnik's got it pretty much spot on here.

Looks quite good. =) I'd use Irons instead of Spike Strips, personally, you could get better armour that way.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're all ready for the off.

Was it my old bot that crashed the game? And is my new bot alright?

Oh, the half-rule only works with Spin motors, doesn't it? My bad.

Ah, but you didn't invent the Sinclair C5 now, did you?
Well, it's not called the MacDonald C5, is it?
