It's been working fine for me ever since I accidently tried to post when my session really did end and that sort of reset the whole thing, I guess.

1) I don't want to be the one to answer that
2) Most of the Gadgets aren't used, or I don't think they are. The Calender is pointless because there is a calender on the home page, the arcades could use some new games (if that's possible), everybody uses the image host, I don't think anyone uses the image gallery, people use the file host, idk about the last 3 but I don't think they're used often.
3) I don't understand why it's there. Flaming should not be allowed if pornography isn't because the site is just as likely to get complaints about hurrcyberbullying, and Flaming is the only thing that I see fit for the Playground, because no one needs useless spam.

I actually got the chassis idea by looking at True Love, and I was going to do that but I've barely got any weight. Maybe if I dropped the armor I could do it but there's not much of a gain from it.

I like it, same weight as before?
...errr.. do you mean Marked Target? I only moved the piglet inward a bit, all the other stuff is still there.

if you mean The Power, yeah I'm gonna keep it a HW

Hey dude how do i make a Backlash-style LW?
you make it in flash

It's not a question of "how?" but "can I?" There's no real technique in IRL building, there are rules but no real technique. You just do it.

Since it's LW, I'd say low armor and low decoration; you're very limited by the weight limit when it comes to decoration. Make sure your spin motors are supported, make sure it looks nice and has a pretty skin and that's pretty much all I can tell you.

It's a possibility. I was thinking of making it invertable, and the 4wd is a given. It'll also be a drum bot, that's a given, and will have a framework (and possibly the same chassis) similar to the latest version (the striped one)

Now they're 2 very evenly spaced gaps.

ew that gap

atleast replace the extender with a drum if you dont want to redo it
Believe me, I tried whatever I could. Another drum component would stick out of the chassis and end up looking bad. Might be able to move the piglet a little more though.
Or you can just make the space smaller.
Yeah, no. I'm not going to go through an entire complicated solution of rebuilding the chassis and adjusting ever so much and then replacing the components and reskinning when I can just move the piglet a little and get similar results.

anuddah bot

So after not being satisfied by Jester, then Eagle; I decided to make a third and finalized bot as the LW for The Legion. Say hecko to Marked Target, a LW drum bot with the cleanest skin I'd ever done and a great color scheme, compliments of my studies in Drawing Class (aka: Class, what is the complimentary color of yellow?)

From the back. Getting that yellow to line up with the rest was easier than I thought it would be. (hooray for Bill Gates's lazy people quote.) That MT had to be redone because I accidently put MK, probably because I was humming the Mortal Kombat theme song or fapping to Sonya or something. I don't remember. 'Twas like 2 in the morning.

Insides. Welcome to a world where everything is simple. Is an Astroflight + Hypnos overkill? Marked Target is rather fast... Fortunately, invertable as well :3

Who remembers this guy huh? He started out as...

This ugly, repulsive, inefficient thing? Well, my friends, The Power is soon to get an IRL makeover and it'll be back and shanazzier than ever. Stay tuned.

got a bot

So, here's Khorpze; a zombie/undead/necromancy themed wammer and the 3rd HW of The Legion. Forgot the armor, but it's aluminium something or titanium something. If it's aluminium it's because I used it to get closer to the weight limit. It is armored for a large amount of its surface area, in fact it's hard to do damage if you aren't attacking the top or bottom. Very susceptible to hammers but it's to be expected. I got crafty with the ripping teeth.

From the back. For the skin I just made it the dark blue metal on all sides except for the wedge, and then put the name on top, and then I spammed the dirt texture until it got as dirty and run-down as I meant it to be.

Insides. Pretty fast, kind of invertable. The cage surrounding it is all mounted on skirt hinges. It actually does plenty of damage in one ram. Not only do the pole spikes hit, but the spike strips hit as well.

  ...The Infinite~ <3...

Since You love The Infinite, here is some trivia for it :
  1. It's my very first SHW (we didn't have a UHW back then) and I used the ACAMS antiballast.
  2. This 7 tons FS metal cube have like a zillion pinks.
  3. The original idea behind it, was to be a "self defending safe", a  steel box completely harmless on first look, but then..., but I didn't  succeed to hide everything inside like in "HW-Deadliest crate ever!",  plus I was a noob back then.
  4. Altho the second Lite Edition is better in effectiveness, I like a  lot more how the first looks. I'm considering it the prettiest bot I've  ever made. Just see it, You realize, that You have a big problem when  You see it in front of You...
  5. Since this stuff is highly outdated, I'm working on a new version, highly epic than this one, I'm a better builder now... Why? 'Cos I can..., 'cos I can...
1. I knew that :P
2. I knew that :P
3. I knew that :P
4. I absolutely loved the looks of it when I saw it, can't blame you. (saw all of this on the RA2 wiki under Freakbots)
5. And I cannot wait for this new version. Even though it was a bit of a fustercluck The Infinite was awesome and I can't wait to see it become reborn with up-to-date mechanics.

So after a bit of thought, I've logically deduced that making a popup IRL is... indeed possible.

If you had a beta motor setup but smaller, put a few spikes on a thing and hide it inside the chassis, then fired it, that would be as close to a popup as there is.

Any thoughts?
Yes, IRL popups are completely doable, but they'd be extremely ineffective IRL. They'd just be flippers using spikes to flip opposing robots and would hardly deal any damage if a real one was made.
Oh. I thought the problem is that they'd be phyiscally impossible to do IRL because of the inexistence of a burst motor.

Thank you for comments and critics

Hypnosis is a bit messy, nice use of the overkill wedge though. I guess now you can see why it isn't used much in IRL.

BattleBot.rar can use a much better name but it's so incredibly clean and perfect, and I love those wheelguards. Unfortunatly I don't think that extender being there is IRL, I mean I do but I think others will dispute over it.

Robot Mower is also suffering from RBND (Really bad name disorder), and is so messy that it's cool. I can see the parts where the weight limit and the rule of 7 choked you up, though.

And Big Willy... That is the coolest HS setup I've ever seen and I don't even care that it's messy; it's beautiful.

I renamed BattleBot.rar to just ".rar" or if you prefer ".ZIP", lol. I know it ain't that good but it symbolizes the fact that it looks very compact.

For being such a lousy bot, I decided to replace Robot Mower with another one and with a better name I guess

(Image removed from quote.)

(Image removed from quote.)

Way faster. Way more agile. Way better in battle. Way more IRL.
In short, It's way better than Robot Mower In every single aspect
Hitting the perfect weight was also an incredibly good feeling, lol
I liked the original, I liked how messy it was

and then you go ahead and build another one that is 3 times more awesome while my mind is still recuperating from the awesome. I'm not sure how I'm able to think about blinking now XD

I understand .rar now, that's pretty clever :P
