Humm, I didn't think SnS would be able to beat either my double heavy plow popup or fatrat.  I mean they can even take on SHW flail SnS last I check, and I can't conceive a HW having more sweeping power than the SHW Quasar 1.7.  Unless of course you went the de-weapon route instead.

Now this just gone beyond funny into totally weird.

The weirdest thing about it is that you are doing a serious pic.

Might lift better if you have 2 on 2 sides instead of just 1 in the center.  I wonder if crusher is possible with something similar.

nor does it indicate that having a female body necessarily comes with a female brain.  It does however has much more affect on personalities, preferences, and sexual orientations.  It's no surprise that many gay men are found to have a female brain, and also process many feminine personalities and preferences.

You also have XY people with female brains atracted to women - the brain is a hell of a complex area.
Because brain dimorphism is affected solely by the level of testosterone level during fetal development.

The chassis needs more armor, especially with what it has now.  Scorpion is right, you don't need the DSL bars: the main extender is safe where it is already.  Get rid of the bars and try to get at least titanium 5 on it.
Or take the Refraction Chassis and put the rest of the stuff on with the half sheet and everything.

If they're naturally ambidextrous, they would be by that reckoning.

If they've taught themselves, then I doubt it

You guys are putting to much emphasis on the "dominant right hand= logic, dominant left hand= artistic" thing. The brain is an incredibly complex system, so you have to do far more research into the way a person's brain functions to accurately predict the intelligence, creativity, and logic of a given person. At least more research than looking at what hand someone writes with.
The funny thing is that this left/right distinction never matters much for SotG, because women brain functions far more spread out, and will use both sides for mathematical/logical tasks.

Note that the neural sexual dimorphism does not increase/decrease the overall competence in performing a given task, nor does it indicate that having a female body necessarily comes with a female brain.  It does however has much more affect on personalities, preferences, and sexual orientations.  It's no surprise that many gay men are found to have a female brain, and also process many feminine personalities and preferences.

I so need to spam DS light and carbon fiber extenders in this.  But then again, the arena is literally screaming for flippers.

Ignoring OOTA for a sec, while you might assume high HP components might be harder to break, the truth is that whichever bot with the least amount of weapons tend to get de-weaponed completely after 1 match, regardless of what they are using.  So then whichever bot has weapons left by round 2 can easily win the next 2 match.  It really doesn't matter how much armor you have because as long as the other 2 bots has no weapons I win.  In this sense designs like refraction will have an upper hand because even if it didn't win round one it will be the only bot with weapons left for 2 and 3.  So the optimum strategy is probably to hide your wheels behind a rack of weapons to make sure you don't lose them all on round 1.  And empirical evidence suggest that heavy weapons are never as good at de-weaponing war as razors or ds light to begin with.  If you don't believe me you can do some trial runs with random bots on either NAR AI or 123 AI and see how often bots still got weapons left after 1 match.

I also don't get the chassis size limit.  I mean the best chassis is already the smallest chassis.  External armor are always superior to chassis armor.  And the hardest thing to kill are those super small 1x1.5 chassis completely covered by externals.  So why ban large chassis when they are never better at surviving?  If I want HP so badly I can just use titanium 10 on that 1x1.5.  I will not need to increase chassis size, or hitbox, for HP.

Does that mean you can build a bot, for ME?  And you promise it will be EFFECTIVE?

I wonder, would you go as far as re-filming to keep that promise?

Translation:

123 and Sparkey are not being serious.  This rule
Actually I was being serious.

I mean, if it lose then I blame it on Hard Bot.  If I win I will claim how awesome I am that I can win a tournament without trying.  Either way it will be a good GTM Land skit.

Well I will say that a general FS needs at least 200kg worth of weapons to be effective, especially one that intends to fight on top.

Add 5 batteries in there, even if that means using shiny wheels.

1173
The problem with this bot has little to do with complexity.  Just use 1 tough center extender and skip the 2 extra extenders by using perm 132.

Well, while replacing everything else with razors will increase this bot's effectiveness, I don't think this bot is intended purely for combat effectiveness.

I mean, it also has a bunch of useless wheels and stuff.

Aside from those 400hp flags, everything else looks fine.  Though I was expecting those motors to AGOD on axles.

You can probably replace those flags with polycarb angled skirt.

Righties are stated to be more intelligent, as the left side of the brain is Logic

Lefties are stated to be more artistic, as the right side of the brain is Creativity

Gauche, the French for left, means "clumsy" and "stupid"

Droite, the French for right, means "deft" and "intelligent"

Back in Medieval times, you could be burnt at the stake for being a leftie (via accusations of witchcraft, simply for using a different hand)
Bullsh**, I'm more intelligent than many of the righties I know (I'm not implying that they're stupid though... Even thought some of them are)  :approve:

EDIT: I also can't draw, I'm such a great stereotypical lefty aren't I?
Very might a rightie, which should mean that my logic and reasoning skills are far superior to my creativity and artistic skills.

But in my experience I can't make that separation.  I think logic and creativity are more intertwine than what most people claim.

Go with side panel + NPC normal + shiny wheels.  It will be faster and can solve your AGOD problem.

Mounting heavy plow on a static multi-extender also helps against AGOD, I know since I made a very similar bot a short while back.

When will the fight start? I sent GarvinTheGreat a PM that I going to challenge him when this is done.
Whenever Garvin stop cheating and actually build a DSL bot that is 800kg or less.

It looks like Garvin is going to win, because that flipper looks like it could lift that hammer-pop-up thingy o.o.t.a. in the first seconds of each fight of this.
This is actually quite true, since Grav was probably using some cheat burst engine just like the rest of the bot.

Flipper has a higher chance of OOTA then trying to score a kill with those dumb samauri swords.  And since wedge war is about 90% luck the chances of Garv winning is higher than most people might assume.

This is why I hate building wedges so much, because it requires no skills whatsoever.

Have you try killing "popups" with this yet?  I expect the flails to curve in, protect the bottom of the chassis, while simultaneously de-weapon the 3 to 4 razors that LW popups have.

I am wondering if this can be widen in some way to kill Flail SnS, especially in the higher weight class.  It will be the pinnacle of de-weapon build.
