Well, after this competition, there is most likely going to be a nerf, if not outright ban on Beta Hammers. Atleast we might get a shot at a great SHW final.
I used beta hammers, but I did so in a realistic fashion. I don't see how using a weapon that has an advantage is not realistic anyway... If you build a robot, are you going to use a weapon that does very little damage when you could use one that does much more with no sacrifice of strength? Of course you aren't. However, there probably should be a limit to how many are on a bot to prevent them from being spammed.

Yeah, it's still up. It doesn't run 1.6.2 though. I think it runs 1.5.9, actually.
The server goes into sleep mode when no one is on. Just try to connect to wake it up.

If they thought that, they obviously don't have a clue how the video gaming community works. And saying that they changed it once they did some research is absurd. What kind of company announces a product before researching consumer wants and needs? Bear in mind, I applaud them for changing all of this after the uproar, but I still have this theory that it was nothing but a marketing tactic. Saying that they've changed all of the issues makes them look like the good guy because they listened to consumer feedback, when it was all just part of the plan. I have no clue if that will make sense to anyone else.

A little off topic, but I noticed there are several flippers here who seem to have AIs that can identify when the opponent has been flipped into an immobile position, and then stop attacking. Is this a widely released AI that I simply haven't heard of? Because it would be a very nice thing to have.
Yes it is. It's a modified flipper.py made by click to do that exact thing you described. It's somewhere in the modifications and designs section.
Wish my LW would have had that.

I knew there were stock cars based on various 4 door sedans, and sprint cars, but I have NEVER seen a sprint car based on a road-going vehicle before. Let me guess, not a single part derived from a standard Impala is in that vehicle.
Neither a stock car or a sprint car... It's a dirt late model. And you would be right about it having no stock parts. This is a pure-bred racing vehicle.
