yay~  Allocated 10kg more for weapon weight, and upgraded armor from 1mm tite to 3mm plastic. Performance is more or less the same (just with more weapon durability). Still can't beat Accretion Disk, though. Sometimes I wonder why I built that thing in the first place. oh yay I got one disk off and now for the oth-ASDFGHJKLASDFGHJKL MY WHEEL I'm starting to hate that bot. >:E I want someone to build a LW VS that can take on Accretion Disk. Please.

Pretty much. Very few robots can get away with complex attachments and still be IRL, but this just looks like someone passed a magnet through a scrapyard (no offense). A simpler and cleaner setup will surely make it better.

moar  So I gave a VS a Bisector-style approach and this is what came up. Weak-ass weaponry but makes it up with its ability to take on (and occassionally de-shell) flail spinners and the like. Will update this soon.

Self-rights fine (a little slow, but good enough since half of the BWs couldn't capitalize on that anyway). If anything, its main problem is trying to pin a bot that was flung out of its reach. It has to back up then turn (due to its wide stance), but the AI only forces it to turn without backing up.

...because it's asymmetric? Must have misinterpreted that because I have no idea where you're going with here. It looks good but if your turning it into DSL standard then wouldn`t 3/4 Beaters + Razers better?
Razors would mean I have to use the DSL disc so they won't hit the ground, which means I only have space for 4 razors. That's even worse. Oh, and a DSL disc with 4 large beaters either makes the weapon setup too small (bars along the disc) or they cut my control board in half (bars away from the disc).

Tried to make an IRL BW VS and it eventually turned into a Nightmare-esque DSL VS instead:  So yeah, nothing special - 3 ants, 1mm tite, airtight chassis and stuff. Worthless against long-reach HSes (unless they're unstable, which it can capitalize on), but it's manly enough to beat stuff that doesn't even try to give a fair match (as evidenced above). #swog

Ditch those hex + DSL bar stabilizers and use 120cm angled skirts beside the Dual Perm instead.
Pretty neat design, though.

That single hex plate connects the stabilizers to the bot. That bot was meant to take out popups, but a popup can easily take off that hex plate, which pretty much spells doom for your bot when it's in an open arena.
Having each stabilizer connected to each side of the robot instead reduces that chance of a cheap win, or you can heavily fortify that hex plate instead.
