Preytor, they belong to the Realistic rule thing, so I don't see any harm of adding them to fix few wormholes.
Loophole, not wormhole. XD Though not in the rules itself, in the rest of this thread, it has been stated multiple times that it is IRL realistic.
Has to be in the rules. Don't care if thats what he meant, he never specified in the rules.
Just deal, alright? This isn't a tournament like BBEANS where you'd go "ASDGHJKLWYHENDDN I MUST WIN THIS"...just something that's mostly for fun. I don't think I've ever heard of a Stock realistic tourney where Popups are allowed anyways.

Amendment to rule no. 1 of the Challenge Board rules:
Once a challenge is announced and accepted, both contestants have ONE WEEK OR LESS to complete their bot (the thread will be marked as disqualified and locked unless a good reason is cited which is accepted by the opposing participant(s) for the delay).
Can the time limit be changed if both parties agree on it beforehand?

Why not ditch the blade for speedier drive, though?
I'm not sure if it needs it; without the blade a bit of the 140cm is left exposed, although I suppose the faster drive could act as a pseudo-blade by keeping the opponent from reaching the extender with the faster drive.   I think I'll stick with your suggestion though. I WANT THAT TO RW:V! 8D

How does the damage thing work? is it until you have lost all your weapons left or is it until your bot is destroyed?
You mean the percentage thing? It looks like 50% accounts for chassis damage and 50% for components. So you'd have 100% damage if your chassis was destroyed and all your components were knocked off.

In the preliminary rounds it doesn't matter since you just need to avoid damage. The final is a rumble so let the other three bots pick themselves off. Then when it's just your flipper and the weakened opponent, you can use the hazards to KO them. And if not, at least you get second. :P

In hindsight it would seem like building a high-power flipper for this would have been smart...the opponent can't damage your bot much if you're flipping them around the arena the whole time.

And the Z in his signature looks like the font from the splash on ULTIMATUM. Next he will build a Crawler/SnS hybrid called Rumble Bee. It will have Endurance, Offense, and Protection versions. :D

I just realized none of the entries actually show the bot winning and/or destroying an opponent bot...and yet at one time crawlers were considered by some to be too cheap and overpowered for tournament use. :D
