As much as it pains me to say it... The Flyers are probably going out this round. Devils are playing the "trap" really well and Bryz is not being good. He needs white pads so he can find the puck. I bet that will improve his rebound control.

I've found a set of very sketchy rules and a format description for an 'experimental' robot competition written in 2008 by someone who just happened to be at the Discovery Channel announcement of the new show. Are they related to 'Robogeddon'?A quick summary:
Maximum weight: 1000 pounds(!)Minimum weight: 150 poundsLocomotion: anthropomorphic (two-legged walking)Weaponry: 'hand-held' with limited kinetic energyThe event itself is described as a 'Capture the Flag' variant with competitors having the option of:Attacking their opponent directly;Destroying items in their opponent's base; orStealing an item and returning it to their own base.These notes may prove to be a false lead but there is a strong connection between the author and the event, and they do fit in with the other scraps of information I have. Those rules came from Mutant Robots's website. They were created in 2008 as a proposal for an experimental class for battlebots 09 the class never formed. ________ found it recently and posted it on his q/a site as truth about the new class. Historically ______ has been biased and incorrect about many things but ______ has a top google search results spot because of his sites age. Battlebots is keeping quiet about it but they are involved and are going to run a 220lb tourney in about 9 months. That's all I know. Thats all anyone knows.

My school has 2 european cushman pickup "trucks" they would fit in the back of a 350 super duty. They aren't much bigger than a side by side.

We don't know. There hasn't been a press release about it with new info since April 12th. No one knows if it even is going to be "robot combat" in the traditional sense or something completely different.

Robogames is held in San Mateo California.
A bit about Electric Boogaloo... It was assembled the night before the event and completely untested. It went on to take 2nd. It's only losses were to Original Sin.

So I just bought a PT Cruzer... I don't know why, but it was cheap, low mileage, in good condition and I need a car. I'll post pictures of it once I pick it up. This also puts my robot stuff on hiatus for until I make more money.
