I was building a bot today and I attached a smartzone near the front of the bot. Then I was trying to put a beater bar on the front but I accidentally attached it to some mysterious attachment point inside the smartzone. Now I can't get it out because when I try to click on it all i get is the surrounding smart zone. pic:  Anyone have any ideas how I can get that beater bar out? If I have to Bot file edit... what do I look for? What program to I have to use in order to BFE? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Ugh... I was going to work on bots for tourneys today.... but I have the worst hangover I've had in a while.  Slept for 12 hours too... Hope I snap out of it soon. I would give my two cents about the forum. But, I wont. I've been with cool forums that have died due to inactivity & that sucks. Still enjoy it here, even with all the entertaining drama. <3

Dude, Soldering is soooooo easy. And you can pick up a basic soldering hobby kit for cheap. If you learn how to solder leads onto motors and bridge battery cells, your life will be so much easier. It's also a great skill to learn if you get into the RC car hobby as well. What state are you located in & do they have robot competitions near there?

And BTW...why are you using the Battlebots motors?
IDK... and what is The Rule Of 7 mean? I've never heard of that before...
The rule of seven means that the game has an attachment chain limit of 7 points. EX: Baseplate, extender, extender, disc, extender, extender, weapon... then no dice.

Nah. He just knows how to walk the line really carefully without going overboard. He's gotten a ton better than when he first joined the forum though.

Does anyone think they could make a transparent skin? Its something I'd use on a lot of my bots.
Well you can't technically make a transparent skin. But you can give the bot the illusion of being transparent. Like Kill343's Stratocaster. Basically, if you take a screenshot of the bot while it is in the lab (while you are working on it and without the chassis visible) you can edit that that picture and use it for the final skin on the bot. I.E. take a screenshot of the top, cut and paste it into the skin for the top of the bot. If you find a pic of Stratocaster on the forum, you will get the idea. Haha. Rock on & same here! I get my ass handed to me in counter strike. I will have to look into this Darkspore game though... I have Diablo roots as well. My Guild Wars kick has pretty much worn off, but I am waiting for the sequel.
