It's understandable, even if he didn't break any rules it was really annoying.

Maybe the bot's name has a space at the end? That's happened to me before. The only thing I can think of is that you did some sort of imporper line break, which sometimes happens. Do you see a red minus sign like this on the left side? http://postimg.org/image/njd18q3cl/68ad06ac/
I'd just delete the broken binding ans start fresh; keep the text stored somewhere so you can put the important parts back in. Also, use Postimage, not Photobucket. 1144

I'm still concerned about the screens; sure they're strong, but they'll still smudge and scratch if you don't buy a protector or case. Still if Nintnedo can succeed in marketing it as the 3DS for kids, then more power to them.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Uwe Boll wants people to Kickstart a sequel to Postal(Movie)« on: August 29, 2013, 01:28:45 AM »
Wow, some people have no shame, and no limit to how deep their greed will go. It just goes to show what kind of character he has when he'll Kickstart something that he could easily fund himself. There are people who have business ideas that will never ever happen if they don't get the money on Kickstarter, and then this prick comes along and is all like Give MAy Monayzzz lol plz kthx! Bowle wishes he was the Ed Wood of the 21st century, then he'd have some modicum of humanity and movies that were cult classics instead of being so terrible that you can't even enjoy them ironically, AND perhaps most glaringly of all he would be resourceful with a shoestring budget instead of Kickstarting half a million dollars
Do not fund this even as a joke, I beg of you. Bowle is 50-year-old spoiled child, who needs a few good hundred slaps to the face a lot more than he needs strings-free validation. 1146

There was an Australian TV for kids show called "Around the Twist." In one episode a kid swallows a Whirling Derfish that makes his... anatomy spin like a propeller. And well, just see for yourself because you wouldn't believe me if I described it. What the ****, Australia? NFSW AND DISTURBING

At the heart of it this is more of the same, and I doubt I'd be playing it had it not been so long since the Wii version. While it doesn't capture the charm of the original, there have been enough changes that you'll like it if you're ok with the core concept playing Animal Crossing once again. Here are the biggest changes, not sure if you'll find them good or bad
-New stuff unlocks each day you play, and this progresses for quite a long time -It is a lot, lot easier to make money -It is also easier to get the silver tools -Diving, a new subset of creatures for you to find -If you have your DS in sleep mode, it will automatically swap data (your name and the inside of your house) with anyone nearby -Your inventory limit is still 16 -The island is back, albeit in a different capacity -And perhaps biggest of all, you can choose not to enable Mr. Resetti 1148

My name is Sonny_Resetti. It should be pretty obvious that I'm an Animal Crossing fan. Are there any others on GTM? I'd love to exchange friend codes and hang out. Here's mine:
Name: Ian Town: The ABQ Friend Code: 5172-0363-1333 I'm currently collecting Ranch stuff and assorted fossils. Let me know if you can help me out, or if I can help you with anything 1149

The LittleMetalFriend binding makes for decent crushers; as decent as they can be in RA2, that is. The TDD servo will serve you well for this, it's got a limited arc. I assume you're building this for show rather than competitions. Your best bet is to use the new DSL 3 extenders, can't see how you can do that design in DSL 2

Tridentate. The spikes are on a servo motor so they're pretty useless. The body proportions aren't quite rigt, but I had to build it around the treads component.

THose folks obviously aren't the builders or organizers, otherwise they'd know that the UK arena isn't safe for spinners.

Project 2 Hex'em, completely rebuilt. Twas in need of an update, since I built the last version with just a pic of the front, and the team stating that P2 could theoretically toss an opponent OOTA. THe motorcycle wheel isn't the actual drive on mine, there's 2 wheels in the body.

General Support / Re: Help for Custom Textures?« on: August 21, 2013, 07:14:11 AM »You actually don't have to touch the bot file to make a custom texture, here's what you need to do: Within the botlab, you go to the paint shop tab, and there's a button "Export Custom Texture" or something. You click that, and give it a name. Then quit or alt-tab out of the game, go to your RA2 folder, and the paintjob will be in the Custom Textures folder. It's a 256 x 256 BMP, each of the green shapes is one panel, and only things inside the lines will show up on your bot. You can resize it by any multiple of 200% and it will still work, in fact I recommend stretching it to 400% if you want it to look good. When you're done drawing on it, go back to the paint shop, and do "Import Custom Texture." If you've done everything right, it should be there 1160

You wound me, Mechadino. True I'm older than most people on GTM but I'm not that old.
Also, the last day to sumbit is tomorrow August 20th. Here's my finalized ballot. I've hedged between Mondo Bizarro and Weta, because while I think Weta deserves it more, I want to contribute if there's a chance for MB. Upheaval Weta Mondo Bizarro Eruption Ziggy Mortis Anticide Warrior SKF |
