The whole awesomeness of the Wii is that you are actually holding the gun in your hands,   not just controlling it with a joystick. This effect is even further exemplified when you get one of those gun attachment things (Link's crossbow training). This dynamic is present in no other system besides the arcade games.

That said, the FPS on the 360 and PS3 are much more detailed, fluid, and deep. Hopefully the upcoming releases of The Conduit 2 and Goldeneye: Wii can even the playing field.
Metroid Prime 3, while more of an adventure game, is a fine shooter. I love the controls!
I'm considering getting that actually. I mean, I've got Metroid Prime 2 (Even if it did take me a long time to defeat the Boost Guardian), so I might look into it.

Littler Inferno: Its ramming spikes look powerful, but its drive looks underpowered, and it'll probably be screwed if it's flipped over. Nice paintwork, though.
This little bugger is a piston with a stationary row of spikes he is pretty fast though for only 2 wheels, he will get screwed with a flipper, and thanks for the paintjob compliment
'tis OK. So basically, it can use its pistons to whip itself forward over short distances?

I have to say it'll probably do really good. I see no problems with it, other than it could have some front armour.

Looking at my last 5-7 posts today, I think madiaba possessed me :/
Thanks Sparkles! I'm glad someone thinks it'll do OK. And yes, I would've included more front armour if possible, but size and weight limits made it a bit hard in the little time I had to build it, but considering, I think it's decent enough.

Yeah. Well, you think you could make a prediction on MeaCulpa II, Sparkles?

looks good to me. Hope ther will come some more realistic stock tourneys. That`s my second stock after Noob Warz 2 (my first ever tournament ^^)
Thanks Thyrus. I mean, I always found myself to be best at Realistic tourneys, and those dedicated to replicas. I came Third twice thanks to those  :approve:

sure. Why isn`t it in the spalsh?
Well, it's kind of a long story.

The original Mea Culpa was unrealistic, so was eliminated on those grounds, and I think someone else took my space. 090901 retired on the grounds that he no longer had RA2 stuff, so he gave up his place to me. I then quickly built a new robot, and sent it off. As a result, that's why I'm not in the spash at the moment.

And also, here's the robot-

The hammer is shown in a partway position so that the head can be fully seen. Its natural position is in the thumbnail.

Dirt Devil 2: Sorry Thyrus. It seems like just an unarmoured wedge with a pokey thing on top and a name that makes it sound like a Vacuum Cleaner. This one's probably the SFTW.

That`s where the name`s comming from :D
But I didn't offend you there, right?

PREDICTIONS-

Alliteration: An innovative weapon system and strong-looking Plough armour. One of the favourites, IMO.
Belgian Waffle: Interesting weapon system, but looks underpowered and with small wheels, won't be going far if flipped.
Chuckya: Well-armoured, and its weaponry might be well suited for OOTA knockouts. If the flippers are powerful enough to do so, I can see this one going far.
Dementia: Looks like a pretty cool remake of Dementia there. If there's another Stock's Revenge in MW, It might be a good place to send it! Joking aside, this looks good with its spikes, but is its drive enough to cause major damage, I wonder?
Dirt Devil 2: Sorry Thyrus. It seems like just an unarmoured wedge with a pokey thing on top and a name that makes it sound like a Vacuum Cleaner. This one's probably the SFTW.
Epicycloid: This one looks like a powerful spinner with four maces and an iron on each arm, but will it be stable enough against the flippers, I wonder?
Insecticide: I really like how this one looks. With cunningly-placed spikes to damage as it flips, I can see this one going all the way under the right circumstances.
Littler Inferno: Its ramming spikes look powerful, but its drive looks underpowered, and it'll probably be screwed if it's flipped over. Nice paintwork, though.
Ozone 2: The host entry is an interesting one. Looking like a cool piece of construction equipment, that spinner layout looks quite dangerous. Might be vunerable to hammers, though.
Repulsor: The spinners look a bit underpowered, but this one looks quite powerful, especially if it acts like a SNS.
SSUUTB: Long name is looooooong. But pretty cool. The spinner layout looks powerful and well-protected, and as such, this one also looks like a real contender today.
T72: The 6-wheel drive obviously makes this one the fastest one in the field here, but with only four spikes, it looks like it'll need to keep moving in order to win. Battery power might also be a concern for this one.
Thwartoise: I like how this one looks. Seeing as it's a Click-built machine, I can see this one as a real contender. My only concerns are the T-connectors on the front, and the potential hammer vunerability.
Toxic: A crawler. Looks dangerous, but I doubt those servos will move it fast enough to escape attacks from others. Nice use of Caster Armour though, I will say.
Fail: Even though this one is not competing (Sorry 09), I'll comment on it anyway. Even though not a lot of effort was put into the paint job, the spiked bumper looks quite a dangerous weapon. Not too sure about the three-wheel arrangement, though.
EVVK: A sleek-looking design from a GTM newcomer. Depending on what the flippers are powered by, I can see this one doing quite well. Looks a little underweaponed and underprotected though.
MeaCulpa 2: Even though my entry won't be revealed until Monday, I'll reveal some details. It's a wedged Hammer/Clamp hybrid that can pin wedges between a spiked bumper whilst a hammer comes down on them. It was effective in testing, and its paintwork is quite pretty, too. One to watch.

Looking good so far Jonzu. Hopefully I can at least beat T. Koistinen if I'm lucky.

Who is he anyway? I don't recall him on the forums.
