At first, I thought you were talking to yourself.

So I'm against Northern Face in Round 4. I hope my wedges are good since I sacrificed some weapons for ballasts.

No worries you have this in the bag

Here was an episode of Kim Possible where robots were fighting in a cage underground. It's hard to remember because I saw it when I was like 6-7 years old. The Simpsons also had a robot combat themed episode where Homer pretends to be Bart's robot and wins a bunch of fights.

I remembered the kim possible one.

i remmebered this old shot called team rocket? They had a robot combat episode

I'm not sure about the oversight but it normally only becomes economical to use a larger battery if you're using really powerful burst motors. The 20kg batteries aren't at all efficient in DSL 2.1. I'm not exactly sure about battlepacks, but I don't make a lot of big flippers so I wouldn't know.

Come to think of it a lot of guys that used to make a lot of flippers vanished recently. SM doesn't post much, KM left again, and Vertigo hasn't posted in months...

I shall take up the art of flipper building.

Prepare to be dissappointed.

Anyways, yea I think you can fit in a TWMR drive or a flat motor if you exchange the anchors with Multi Extenders

EDIT: might wanna lower the ME's a bit so the tip doesn't poke out the chassis. Otherwise the razor strips look like they're floating. (Found out the hard way)

Northern Face: Lots of weapons and no frontal protection. Let's see if that will affect anything.

at least i'll look cool

i mean how could anyone waste that skin for a ramplate

i know i could've placed the darn logo on the top instead but hey it's too late for that now is it

Okay.

Ty4er accepted and AI'd.
RedAce, Jake, Elementos and Tommy accepted.
S.H.I.E.L.D. is overweight by about 90kg and uses cheatbot2 stuff.
Chickenado is just overweight by 0.1kg. Unlucky.

Yes I know I have other entries apart from these guys, I'm getting to that.

EDIT: Maz and Qwerty accepted.

Oh right forgot to switch it with the MW version.

Oh well too late for that

I think Diesectpr and a couple of other bots were in the same CSI episode above. They were fighting in a cage and what not.

5. Fallout 3: Dogmeat getting lost after I told him to go back to Vault 101. I eventually found the bugger, but I still got a heart attack none the less.

4. The Walking Dead: Carly/Doug decision. I honestly thought that both of them could escape. As it turns out, the game takes the fragility of human life very seriously.

3. SCP Containment Breach: Every 5 seconds

2. Pokemon Fire Red: The Pokemon tower. When I first encountered ghost I immediately thought back to the creepy pasta about Ghost and laughed. Then I tried to attack. When it told me my Pokemon was too scared to move I honestly thought for a moment I was facing THE ghost of the story and shat bricks

1. FlatOut 2: Beating career mode. I never really jumped up and screamed or anything. But I did just look at the screen and think to myself:"it's over?". The game has no story whatsoever but it's been with me for around 5-6 years and I have never completed it ever. And when I did, I kinda just sat there and got teary eyed.

DSL TC Showcases / Re: S.H.I.E.L.D's failcase
« on: May 12, 2014, 04:03:07 AM »
You're doing it wrong.  The forks aren't supposed to flex backwards that far, or they will lift off the ground when you move forward and you'll never get under anything.  You should use a 90 degree axle > hex plate > forks 120 degrees from the axle.  The design also works better with smaller wheels.  High ground clearance gives the forks room to flex up off the floor.

Bot looks great otherwise.

Edit:  Unless you're using burst motors, which it looks like you might be.  Then that's an entirely different design.

Yea it's a flipper

I personally love Slam bot the way it is.

Though I would love to know what extender setup you used and what not. I can't really see very clearly
Slambot uses one hexplate to hold on the Vlad forks.

brb gonna make hw rip off of it

But there isn't any quality control in this tournament... if you enter bad bots, the tournament level decreases.

it's up to you nary senpai to dominate this tourney and show this young grasshopper the true meaning of friendship how to be a winner

The problem with razors on giant VS's is that you lose your wedge effectiveness quickly.

Full disc seems like a waste as well. If I were you I would just use a smaller disc and razors on beaters.

i'd personally use flails

Stop being so pessimistic.  I highly doubt GTM can get anymore dysfunctional than it currently is, even with PewDiePie fans.

Prepare to be surprised.
