A lot of people, myself included, have had trouble with the bot exporter tool. I looked into the error message and finally found a solution. I'm linking rather than retyping because the page explains it concisely enough. Note that in step 3, they mean extract to C:\Windows\System32 http://windowsxp.mvps.org/comdlg32.htm

It's more to do with the SHW requirement. SHW bots lag like a beach on my poor old computer.

Very clever #2, I see what you did there.

Reasons to hate Youtube: 1) They took down copyrighted material.
Hmm, anyone else got anything?

1) Paragraphs are generally longer than 1 sentence.
2) It asks for three things, I assume your teacher wants one of each
3) There HAVE, but otherwise good
4) Dunno exactly how to buff it up but you definitely need more than a list.

Of course, if you juice up the burst motor enough you can make a flipper as heavy as you want

New version of Team Run Amok's bot The Gap. The metal on the original is all the same color, but I made each piece a different color (based on the various colors it is depending on how the light hits it) so that it was more distinguishable

You've got milk or yogurt on hand right? I mean, no one in their right mind would eat all that without having spice counteractors at the ready.

New build of Gravity. The old one's flipper was just a kevlar sheet, this one actually has polycarb and metal panels bolted onto a frame.

Wow, there is a lot of talking on robotica lol
Still cool to watch having never seen it before.
It really is peanuts compared to how much you see these days, though.

Damn, Wham, so sorry to hear about that. I don't know what I'd do if I lost my replica collection. I know I'm not up to your level of replica building, and that my style is classical to your jazz, but I'd be glad to do some replicas for you; any robots, not just ones from the televised Robot Wars.
I highly recommend Carbonite as a backup program, it isn't free but it's brought me immeasurable peace of mind; it automatically saves everything every 24 hours or so.

I could, but it's a disorganized mess that can't be used in competitive building. Plus most of the custom components are hidden so you can't use them yourself.

Rebuild of Maximill. This one has a thinner and more accurate disc, the ability to run invertible, and an actuator for raising the body to activate the crusher at the rear.

Now, this is spaghetti all about how
My mom got flipped-turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute Just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called mom's spaghetti In west spaghetti born and raised On the spaghetti was where I spent most of my moms Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool And all shootin some mom's spaghetti outside of the school When a couple of guys who were up to no good Started making trouble in my spaghetti I got in one little fight and my mom's spaghetti She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and spaghetti in Bel Air'
I whistled for a spaghetti and when it came near The license plate said mom's spaghetti and it had spaghetti in the mirror If anything I could say that this spaghetti was rare But I thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo, mom to Bel Air'
I pulled up to the spaghetti about mom's or spaghetti And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo mom smell ya later' I looked at my spaghetti I was finally there To sit on my throne as the mom's spaghetti

Kinda feels like the hall of fame has lost purpose.. seeing robots like Razer and Chaos 2 along with robots that "just competed last weekend" doesnt seem right to me..
I don't understand, are there any still competing robots that do deserve in? I mean yes, definitely admire Razer and Chaos 2 for the precedents they set, but we've come a long way from them. Thanks for your votes and continued support of the Hall.
- Mark J. -- much too old to be Sonny R. -- and much better looking.
No arguments here.

you need "range":xx. Range dictates from how far away the bot will spin up its weapon. Default value is zero, which as you've observed, means it doesn't spin until it's touching the opponent.
