For judging are you using the RFL Judging guidelines or something else?

Yes, except for judging will be based on Agression, Damage, and Control, each category 5 points per judge, totaling up to 45 points.
Doubt this will work

Aggression: AI will always be equally aggressive, (AI never runs away :P)
Control: AI control will always be the same, the better control will be the bot you AI better making it quite unfair

I would suggest using the current style of judging, point given for every attack, e.g.
ramming= 1 point
flipping= 1 point
hitting with spinner= 1 point

etc.

To get the nice laid out Bindings.py instead of it being cluttered like the Stock one

Havok rules look fine.  Harsh, but that's OK with me.

      - Bots are divided into the following categories:
Popup, Spinner, Flipper, Hammer, SNS, Crawler, Juggler, Rammer/Wammer/Poker
These designs can only be used once, one on each bot

Wait, so do HS, VS, and FS all fall under "Spinner"?  So you couldn't enter a VS and a HS?

If so, jugglers should count as spinners too.
That, is a good point :P

Yup, its the only way I could think of achieving the weapon setup while keeping the bot in weight

General Support / RA2 AI folder being a pain
« on: June 16, 2011, 02:53:57 PM »
So, I've got Stock RA2
I delete the AI folder
Paste in SCv4 AI folder
Open Teams.txt
Delete teams 15 onwards
Change bots in each team from 0 1 2 3 4 5 to 0 1 2
Change picture in each team
Open Bindings.py
Delete teams 15 onwards
Delete bot 3 4 5 bindings in each team
Delete teams folders from 15 onwards
Open up teams folders, delete bots 3 4 5

I open up the game, go onto exhibition, select the computer icon and the game crashes

?

I was when I built it, but most other HS are only protected by 200 HP worth of plow anyway, and in the high destructability of stock, that doesn't really make that much of a difference

Anyone else have a problem with the havok rules?

I'll probably open signups in a few weeks time, letting you guys know so that you can prepare you're teams
I'm assuming quite a few of you will want to send your first entry rather quickly due to the 3 day gap rule :P

Not bad. It does look a bit thin, though, and maybe a little messy.
Not messy really, setup is nice and clean

I will agree though, it is too thin for my liking

DSA, CB stacked in Supervolt the rest you can see

Bit too thin for my liking, grannies only because I have free weight and didn't know what I could do with it
Still, performs well, beats Fury & Mutiny II consistently
