You sound as though you've done little to no research. Let me fill you in:
It is not that the iPhone 4 was out of date, it is just that it took way too long to fit the needs of an adequate phone. My first gen iPhone more than met my expectations for a smart phone. The camera had no flash for 4 years, and the flash on the iPhone4 is just 1 tiny led.Relatively few phones had a worthwhile flash when the iPhone came out. The current iPhone's camera is receiving mostly positive reviews, so I don't know how you can say the use of a single LED is necessarily a bad thing. The glass on the back of the iPhone 4 is a joke, they could of use stronger things like medal, but they just had to use f***ing glass.Encasing the thing in metal would prevent the radio receivers from working. Throwing glass on the back (which is actually much stronger than plastic and much more environmentally friendly) makes it look nice and allows for a functional antena. This complaint of yours is nothing but manufactured outrage. And sure the rehnet display is sharp, but I'm sure the screen won't get cluttered, because there are STILL no SD card slots, you get for what you buy and that still pisses me off.So because this 16-32 GB device has no built in SD slot, that means the screen sucks? The physical screen is one of the best on the market. The "desktop", if you will, can only get cluttered if the user is sloppy. iOS allows users to create folders in which to store apps/web apps. Also, if your battery dies, your done,I'm still on my first gen iPhone and the battery is showing no sign of giving out anytime soon. If it does, Apple has a battery replacement program. It costs $80. If you want to do it yourself, there are ways. because insurance for physical damage costs up to 199 a month and that isn't by AT+T or Apple either, they have no insurance.Where did you get that information? AppleCare, Apple's official insurance for iPhones and all other Apple products, is a one-time cost of $70 and lasts 2 years. It covers physical damages. Each iPhone also comes with a one year warranty. When I bricked my original iPhone while updating to the iPhone OS 2.0, I took it to the Apple Store where after failing to unbrick it, they gave me a new phone for no cost at all. Also there is no unlimited data plan, they had one, but now they decided for anyone who first get the iPhone 4 they can't go app crazy and wait every month to stock up on downloads. The new data plans are actually cheaper for the average person. Most people don't use over 2 GB in data a month, so instead of paying $30 a month for unlimited, they pay $20 (or was it $25?) for 2GB. Then it's $10 for each gig over that. Since Starbucks offers free WiFi (and always has to iPhone customers), and there is a Starbucks every 2 feet, I don't think the 2 GB cap is much of an issue. Also there is no 3rd party app support which is also lame. I rest my case. What do you mean there's no third party support? Have you seen the amount of apps in the iTunes App Store? There are third party apps ranging from the Opera browser to Resident Evil 4 (with graphics on par with the PS2 build). Hell, even Microsoft is starting to jump in with Bing and Windows Live Messenger. 1104

In defense of iPhone:
No flash? Who cares? Flash is a huge resource hog. More and more sites are supporting HTML5, which even my first gen iPhone handles quite well. In fact, I can't think of a website that I go to that my iPhone doesn't handle well. iOS4 has wallpapers. If I had iOS4, I don't know if I would even change that black background, though. It fits the phone well. I can see how carrier freedom could be an issue, but it's not a fair comparison to make. It's not as though every Android phone is available to every carrier. If we're talking platforms, iOS is also the OS powering the iPad which isn't tied down to AT&T. If Apple published a strict set of rules, I would be fine with their approval process. As is, though, I'm satisfied with the apps that are available. The iPhone 4's hardware is in no way out of date. That A4 processor kicks ass. The high res screen is also nice. Your point about the developers making the iPhone worthwhile makes no goddamn sense. Of course the developers add value to the phone! Sure, I loved my iPhone before the launch of the iTunes App Store, but it was even better once I had things like Bejeweled 2 and Cooking Mama. Speaking of gaming, the iPhone has that market covered much better than Android. I'm tired. End post. 1105

I've got 2 GB of RAM (double what this thing came with), so it has plenty to leach from.

After some goggling, I think the problem may be that I need to defrag. OS X apparently only auto defrags things smaller than 20 MBs.

It tells me to go into Disk Utility and set my harddrive to Mac OS X Extended (Journaled). That would be fine and all except for the fact that my harddrive already is. Booting from DVD and repairing/verifying the disk didn't seem to do the trick. Anyone know how to get around this and/or solve the issue? In the meantime, I'm going to try goggling. 1117

I have a MacBook circa 2007 with a 2.16 GHz Intel Core2Duo and an Intel GMA 950. If I were to Bootcamp Windows XP, would it be able to run stock RA2? I know Virtualbox can't and I don't want to waste the harddrive space if Bootcamp can't.

Fact: My original username on the official RA boards was "Frezal2". Capital "F" and all. I blame my lack of style on the fact that I was a little kid (12 or 13).
