If Infogrammes where to make this game, what would it have?
This is just a bot of fun.
My oppinion:
Have bots not stay to cube shape (Kinda like, have then have a cube at the bottom, and have a pyramid on top, not just a flat top)
What do you guys think?

Hi all.
This thread is if you want to tell us about any fights you may of had lately, and how it went.
REAL ROBOT fights, not RA2.
I might as well get the ball rolling.
My fight was in October sometime.
I was driving a friends robot, as mine, Hunter wasnt ready.
I was drving Satanix.
A pusher, rather small for a FW, but it was fun none the least.
I was doing ok, except i kept on losing him behind Roaming Robots new House robot, who is MAHOSIVE so i had trouble.
Plus i have 7 or 8 other bots in the arena.
It ended when i got stuck on the Floor Flipper, where DTK ripped the floor up.
We where telling, infact shouting at Mr Stu, who opperates the arena hazards, that we where stuck on the FF, but he said we wasnt.
So we ended up losing.
I know a few of us are roboteers, Me, Urjak and Sorrow, but any of you lot also roboteers?
Any fights lately?

I drive Hunter into walls not to test him, just because my driving needs some work! (I drive him into the curb! XD)

Good point.
But is good to have something extra, like a rod on Ziggo and Megabyte, or a static flag like Typhoon.
You have to be prepared, because belive me, if your bots not ready, then it will never win.
Were taking extra precautions with Hunter, safety aspects, like cut-out fuses, as where running some VERY high voltage motors in him, plus, if it should come to it, the wedge is aluminium, so if it doesnt fare that well in its first fight, then an idea for us is get some 3mm hardox the size or the wedge plate, and put that on the front, so that its stronger.
Plus, make sure that you have a secure space for the Link to go.
If its not a good spot, then it'll:
Flap: Probably end up breaking off
Slot: Cause the weight off-balence of the shell to cause the robot to tremour a bit.
There are all these aspects to think of.
Not just a weapon, motors and armour, but all of the above.
If you know that, then im sure that your going to be a great roboteer!

I have a bot of a prblem as well.
My Beauty 2 replica selfrights when on its flipper, but when it gets on its back, it wont fire again.
Can someone help me aswell?

Plus, if its going to be a full-body spinner, you'll need some kind of self righting mechinisim.
Otherwise, an impact might not only damage your bot, it could also send it over on its back.
And your opponent could still be running.
You Americans are lucky, you all have Class 1 type arena, most of ours are class 3, and there are only a few class 2 type arenas.
No fair.
