Build models, build Robot Wars replicas, play my steam games, and work on my fanfics - they started out as a joke but they're actually quite fun to write.

Not bad at all, you're getting real creative with components as parts of the chassis shape, and that's real good.  Continue to skin components, that's the next level for you.

Positive change, you can reply to comments on your channel page, used to be impossible to carry a conversation.  I used to tell people not to post there because I wouldn't bother reading it.

That sucks.  We had out differences, but I always wished a long and prosperous life on them.  No one deserves to die that young.

Are the two lowest-scoring bots going to be eliminated before the arena?

Why did you blank out the names?
COmpetitors are in the process of judging one another's entries, and he wants them to score them without knowing each other's names.

But aren't they just going to figure out on their own?
I didn't

its just a data mining site.
  What kind of data?  The demographic of idiots who'd waste their time doing these surveys?

Incidentally, 1.1 million is my net worth.

Oh look, a third legendary called Zygard.  That's Pokemon Z more or less confirmed.  Xerneas is seriously bothering me; the trio's Pokedex order should go X-Y-Z, and worse it looks more like a letter Y than an X.

These name amalgations are hardly trying anymore. The Pokémon are literally what they say they are.

Fennekin = Fennec Fox + Kindle
Spewpa = Spew + Pupa
Vivillon = Vivid + Papillon
Pyroar = Pyro + Roar

I could go on and on, but I don't think any of the previous games lacked this creativity with the names. Too many puns.
  I don't know what Pokemon games you've been playing but if anything that's more creative than Generation 1.  I mean, come on, there's a Pokemon based on a seal, called Seel.

Ripper.  This took longer than normal because it's the subject of my next Let's Build, hence I had to film everything.  Blessings be on DSL3.

I've made a very quick list of 16 Robot Wars entries that would qualify. Controversially, I have decided to ALLOW Iron Awe. X-Terminator as well.

What I am tempted to do is keep it down to those and randomly allocate the 16 entrants one robot they have to build. Might be a bad idea, might be a challenge. Thoughts?
  I'm not crazy about arbitrarily limiting us to 16.  I think it's great that you've compiled a list, but this is a creativity tournament and you want to do everything in your power to give creative freedoms.  Maybe add a rule saying "If you have an idea that's not on the list PLEASE RUN IT BY ME BEFORE YOU START BUILDING.  Link me to a video of the bot getting destroyed."

Bots like Iron Awe and X-Terminator are going to be a grey area, because while they were trashed on their last televised appearance, they were fixed afterwards.

If you've found a used 3DS for $60-$100, there's definitely something wrong with it.

It's not a regular DS is it?  You're going to need a 3DS to play Pokemon X.  And you won't even find a broken one for $60.

Uggh, I watched the first few minutes of "Jimmy Fallon" today and he just loves ruining jokes by explaining them,

"John McCain, when asked if he could bring the parties together, said 'I did it with the Pilgrims and Indians.'  He's been around for a long time"

"According to a recent survey, only 48% of Americans have read a book in the past year.  For most of them, it was the instruction manual of Grand Theft Auto 5.  That's not a book, it's more like a map."

Yeah, I think the best course of action would be to provide us with a list of at least 24 acceptable choices - optimally you want a different bot for each person, without anyone getting stuck with a really crappy choice.

Dang, how am I supposed to choose between Chespin and Froakie?  They're both real badasses in their final stages.  Fennekin's out because I'm getting Mega Charizard X, but beyond that I don't know what.

Mega Kangaskhan, wtf has changed? Is it just the baby leaving the pouch?  Well you're in luck Venusaur, you're not the worst mega evolution anymore.

I'm game for pretty much everything related to Robot Wars.  But I'm concerned about the lack of possibilities.  I mean, the majority of possibilities are joke bots like Granny's Revenge.  And quite a few of the most memorable destroyed bots (Splinter, Shapeshifter, Hammerhead, Iron Awe) weren't orphaned.

I don't know if this could be considered stepping on Craaig's toes, but why not just do the same thing as him, only with the inclusion of Battlebots and HW instead of MW?

It's a real quick way to find out each component's number. I have replicas with over 100 components, so counting from the top can be a real pain.
