Pretty sure your burst motor of choice is made for being on the outside of the chassis.

Did you get my entry i sent yesterday?
unless you got a pm telling you they were illegal, then they were fine
Plus, you can always just look in the OP and look for your name.
That would be helpful except that Badnik hasn't updated the OP in three weeks.
Good point.  :ermm:

Trying this again.

I'll be darn, it does look better with a wider front and saved weight.  It's now Steel 3.

I'd say a lower chassis, a slightly smaller chassis, and using 2 Piglets for the saw blade robot. Should reduce a lot of weight.
I tried having a lower chassis, but it wasn't allowed.  And as for the piglets, it would only weigh 5 kg less plus I'd have to make the chassis larger.  Thus nullifying it.

Not gonna lie, that's the worst Pussycat clone I've ever seen.
Pussycat?  My vision was more, Black Hole-esk
Honestly, I don't even like Pussycat.

I reserve the right to reject a bot for any reason
I'd say just reject it.  Supplying a back-up bot doesn't sound right.

Edit: Wait, is Buzzsaw your second bot? If so, I have no problem.

Custom Components Showcase / Re: Pay Tribute With Replicas

Just saying you only need 2 Battlepacks to power it.  The general design is, eh, and the weapon motor lacks support.
Oh wait, this is the replica thread... uh... 6/10.

The bar itself is well done but the skin and supports need work.

Real Robotics Discussion / Re: So, why do we all hate Chomp?
« on: December 28, 2016, 05:58:05 PM »
I'd say it's because it had an undeserving win in one match, then everyone just held a grudge over its head when it defeated Shrederator and Bite Force fair and square.
I think it won its first match because Disco's flipper didn't count as a primary weapon.

The same happened with Mega Tento vs Stinger.

Whatever the case is, Chomp's getting nerfed next year.

I'd personally nerf it by making control the 2 points on the score card instead of aggression.

Sees a new DSL tournament.
Tells himself he'll take his time on his entry.
Starts building.
Realizes he just lied to himself.

I might replace it later.

The intro is a bit buggy. I apologize, but the rumble is here.

Anyway, grudges are held tomorrow, so get em in while you can.

That looks like insufficient battery life.
Also, make sure the drum doesn't collide with the control board.  It seems to be clipping through it in the photo.
If it isn't it'll be IRL.
