« on: May 24, 2014, 02:39:46 AM »
it has five or six discs on the back
ya know what
take it

Before:

After:

No Teeth:

Changes:
-Gave it NPC Fast instead of regular NPC's
-Replaced Black bats with battlepacks (not sure if that's an improvement, but i've been using battlepacks for burst motors for as long as I could remember)
-Replaced the micro control board with a blue one
-Cleaned up the wheelguards
-Put in couple more ants so that drive motors can last full 3 minutes now
-Replaced Beaters with teeth
-Replaced baseplate anchors with ME's

also didn't realize that those lifter motors existed up until now. thought it used servos or burst idk

i also wanted to straighten the tornado wedge but those things are freaky and i didn't want to mess with it

It's....

It's beautiful

What Nary said. I am very doubtful that Sewer Sin does anything other than flip itself onto it's back, but it does look cool.

Lenny the lifter really looks just no

make the flipper/lifter closer to the bot, and with that weight, you gotta be able to get a second lifter on there. as it stands, it can barely lift a MW.

sewer sin id the best bot i have ever built i would not say that if it flipped itself

lenny's picture had the arm begining to fire it is against the chassis when dormant

although it does need a skin

The question is have you tested it AI'd? Testing a bot by driving it and by AI can make a huge difference.
that was not thr final version the final version had a spike on the back which kept it from tipping
also they are lifter motors not snapper motors it might be pointless ai d but i already entered it in a tournament
the design should work and in me driving it it has
it should work if it doesnt I WILL be surprised
/rant
if you want to see it work it is in the world cup tournament as snugglebot molossia edition
molossia being the country it represents (look it up)

the spike at the back ruins it completely tbh should've stuck to a triple dsl bar armor

the support looks ugly, and what are you going to trap in that tiny dustpan? It looks like some big antweights will have issues fitting in there...

idk this is literally as large as wide as the game allows it to be

only n00bs use cheat components anyways in normal building because they are UNSKILLED and they want an unfair advantage. There.

Unless it is an all-cheat tournament then it is fine.

Also, I'll be willing to judge.

Fine. I'll disallow the MOE motors

ANd you're hired

EDIT: Updated rules

Unfortunately the HW I wanted to enter has some Judge-powered flippers and while it's "stable" it doesn't seem like it's reliable enough to make it without being disqualified. :(

I know that feel

anyways guys, judge burst motors have been banned. seeing as how smashbox got along just fine with bsg's, i reckon you guys can live without judge bursts.

plus the thought of a non-havoking judge burst pop-up scares me

and i'm looking for 3 judges so if you're interested pm me

I just realized how good those bye-bots are .... :0

Trust me the VS doesn't have nearly enough power than I'd like it to have. The dual HS doesn't have enough weapons and the RPB clone usually gets it's mag motors taken out fairly quickly. But I am very proud of Maelstrom. Very destructive.

Probably better to scrap the cheatbot entirely. Flippers are fine with BSG's in standard, and no need to overpower popups to oblivion. MOE motor? Nub tarp.

Octagon arena has no OOTA so, really judge burst flippers are actually at a disadvantage if anything.

MOE motors seem balanced to me and the wheels are okay. All the other extras However I'll have to decline.

I should also mention that spots for judges are open. So if anyone's interested...

You seem to have missed the point. Judge. Burst. Popups.

Will. Havok. I tried.

But if you truly want to ban them, then I guess I could do that.

MOE motors have the power of a dual perm for a whole lot less weight. :P

It's actually less powerful. Plus, their huge size is hard to work with.

Bump.

I see a Groudon on the cover. I am interested.

Anyways, just got into pokemon, was wondering if these are going to be exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS or will there be other platforms?
Probably just the 3DS, Pokemon has long been exclusive to the Nintendo handhelds, and the company needs to keep it that way to keep their heads above water.

So I'm gonna have to save up for a 3DS then. Ugh.
