Tournament Archives / Re: Cruisin' For A Bruisin' SBV

I'm feeling good about my next few matches.

Good news: My other computer is working so I have Propaganda back.
Bad news: It Havoks uncontrollably when in the same arena as anything w/ a skirt hinge/metal hinge. Is this just me? Has anyone else ever had something similar? Any fixes?

I was in Covent Garden today and bought their cd on an impulse buy after hearing them play for 30 seconds. Woo.

Sup you bitches and hoes. I made another robot!

For Phoenyx's tourney. Unless there's a rule prohibiting reptile themed robots.

Dp:
After possibly losing my original SW2 entry (Not sure yet, don't know if father has fixed the computer.) I made this.

...Only to remember Steel Warzone 2 prohibits BFE. Dammit. Those are 2 counter rotating shell btw.

It also looks cool in spikeball mode.

Why, my showcase... anyways I tried do a SnS/HS hybrid anyways...
(Image removed from quote.)

Could you use poly extenders instead, mount the piglet on the end and the npc on one of the side parts? That would protect the wheels better. And save weight.

Regardless it looks very cool.

Then I'd be copying Conraaa.
no you won't, you can make a HS/SnS hybrid.

Isn't that what my robot is?
Anyway, I agree with Pwn in that it should try and be a intruder alert style dual hs. Downgrade to 1 razor/flail and 2 tmw3rs spinning in opposite directions? Oh and that drive seems a bit slow on a MW. Even for a spinner.

For the sake of £2.36 worth of internet tickets I hardly think it's worth the trouble. It'll be the last time I go to that trouble of organising a MVM game though.

For Mann Vs Machine there are 2 modes:

Boot Camp: Just play on any server set up for it, no ticket required.

Mann Up: Play on a valve server and  get a few items when you complete it, possibly botkill stranges. 1 tour of duty ticket required. The ticket is only used up when you complete a mission. So if you QUIT LIKE A COWARD halfway through you keep the ticket  You can also use a squad surplus voucher to get more items when you complete a mission.

Right, so out of Me, GF, Jonzu, SmashySmashy, T9 and SmashySmashy's friend. Only me and GF were left when we completed it.
Thanks to Jonzu, SmashySmashy, T9 and SmashySmashy's friend for essentially nicking my tickets.

Sweet, one more person and we can get this pajama party started

1096
1) Go play Forza online
2) Go intop a RWD drift lobby (The drift purists)
3) Select a normal drifting car
4) With 40 seconds left, choose an R2 or R1 car
5) Get at least 1 drift point
6) Race as fast as possible to the finish. Hit people on the way for exra points
7) Feel the hate as you're the only one to finish
8) Collect ~10,000 credit prize
I really don't want to start a flame war, but you have really gone down in my estimation.
To be honest that sounds like the sort of thing I'd do.

Can you trade mann co tickets? I have a few I don't mind giving away if it gets a game going.

Anyone wanna try MVM tonight? I've tried with Gf93 twice and it's never gone well. The first time someone tried to kick Gf and then everyone left.

Discussion / Re: What do you mod? (2012)
« on: September 14, 2012, 03:51:54 PM »
I've modded:
.Bot Files
Component.txt files
Component.gmf Files
Arena.gmf Files
Bindings.py Files (AIing)
Reskins (components, arenas, UI)

-How much experience do you have in a specific category?

.Bot Files-Only editing the name of bot, the weight class and changing one component for another.
Component.txt files-Name editing/Damage output editing/ File location direction changing.
Component.gmf Files-Colour changing/Texture changing.
Arena.gmf Files-Coordinate editing and Arena resizing
Bindings.py Files (AIing)-Basic Ai'ing of bots
Reskins (components, arenas, UI)-The one I have the most experience in, i've done basic reskins of arenas and a bit of UI reskinning (See Punch Out UI)

-What do you want to learn more about?

Binding.py file editing, so I can make custom ai for bots.

-What do you like modding in?

I personally like the Arena.gmf editing the most.

-What mod types are you most interested in getting?

?

-What is favorite mod?

I personally liked Space Arena, with the different components and the whole look of the thing.
