This might sound crazy, but maybe its still thinking its part of the C Drive, as that "second" RA2 still exists in that hidden folder section.
I believe I have the same problem, and my copy has never been on my C drive. Though, just to check, is there a delay before it crashes Vertigo, as in it comes up with the teams and the bots, but then it crashes?
