Yay for builder's block! That was... two months? You may have noticed some of the pictures disappeared, and that's because I organized my Photobucket account over that period of time. I'll get about to fixing them some time later. Anyway I finally got another bot. I made the chassis a lot more airtight than I usually do. This is due to the fact that I built like Joe once said he did (putting all the components down in a huge chassis and then trimming it down to fit) and that my grid mod helped LOADS. I could tighten it up a bit more, but I just wanted to lay out the basic build first. The resulting bot is Porcelain. It's a bit of a concept; it's a horizontal spinner with something resembling a giant armored dustpan in the front. It's got DSA, two stacked black batteries, 4 HP-Zteks, and two DDT's for the wedges. The wheels and ram-pan are mounted on two blue snappers and the spinners on another two blue snappers. While I thought the concept would work great, it's not as good as I thought. It does a lot of damage but despite the armored ram-pan I find the robot lives up to it's name and is very fragile.

We are not, nor will we ever think of, resorting to gbots.

If you fight shunt in an official fight it's much more difficult. Both of his scoops count as weapons, so you can't damage him by hitting them. This means the only exposed areas are his sides, which are puny. He's so fast that flipping him in a 1v1 is almost impossible, even if you can get your flipper under his scoop without breaking it. Plus, I think he can self-right.
On an unrelated note, I've won a game against one of my brothers by judges decision even though one of my two drive motors was broken. I could only drive forward and backwards and run away from him as a result of the broken motor.
Tell me how many things are wrong with the above sentences. They're true from what I can recall of the game.

Super hard mode: try and beat Shunt.
Trust me, it's impossible.

I'd really hate see this community disintegrate. It has been hands down the best I've been part of in my time on the internet. Yeah I've got places to go should this community fall through, but I'd rather not see that happen.
If someone thinks we ought to broaden our horizons to other games, I think Garry's Mod would be our best bet. It's the only mainstream game that comes anywhere close to the concept of RA2.

No worries, your Mark 1 "Landship" was definitely the next best thing, and got my vote for sure. Did you know that the first of those tanks were originally built in my hometown?
Thanks, and no I didn't. :P

Bollocks, I was winning for a short time too.
On the other hand, I did a lot better than I should have. That entry was a last minute attempt that I more or less threw together in a few minutes. Good job Joe with the win.
I will win one of these!

And technically, MTF or FTM is not for describing transvestites, it's for describing transsexuals.
Doesn't MTF stand for Male Turned Female and FTM the opposite? I figure that'd indicate a transvestite.

A question. Why do you want to know our sexual thing?
So we can know what percentage of GTM does men.

I just filled out the survey. I must comment on the fact that a lot of the rating things are pretty subjective.
