Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Whose Line Is It Anyway« on: January 12, 2011, 07:38:48 PM »[They] take those ideas and shoehorn them into skits and bits that they've all ready practiced and rehearsed. Frankie Boyle has proven this sad fact about shows like this. Unfortunate, really. But honestly it's all in the name of silly fun. Your Milage May Vary, Everyone. 1084
Stock Showcases / Re: Wacky Bob's Stock Showcase« on: January 12, 2011, 04:59:37 PM »N-12's aren't grippy? It seems like it. Maybe it's the motors? I'll start the makeover right now. We only look at the numbers and we ignore physics here. Besides, even if they could be grippy the sheer size would negate any advantage. 1085

In theory you could use a set of batteries with different values to make a system of power that can be timed in stages?

Scorpion: You are now the universal tool for eternity. Enjoy this fact.
I'd give you a crown but any sharp objects but not be given to people like you, as you may accidentally castrate yourself by sheer dumb luck. Have a safety helmet instead! ![]() 1092

In summary, we use MW and HW classes to give ourselves the illusion of variation, in the same way we use DSL over stock.
If we look deeper, we are not having variety, but the illusion of it. It's all the same, but in different colours! 1093

Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion« on: January 08, 2011, 02:03:58 PM »You're kidding right, ofcourse that comment's true, more weight to play around with means more possible designs, simple. All DSL is is a bunch of boxes with pipes coming out of it and a bunch of loopholes to a realistic rule nobody follows. All Stock is is a bunch of boxes stacked together. If you honestly think that there is a scent of any sort of "variation" I hope to never see your goddamn wardrobe: Quote from: Scorpion choosing clothes. Gray shirt, black shirt, gray shirt, black shirt, gray shirt... Oh look! A Noir shirt, that but be different, time to spice up my life! 1096
Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion« on: January 08, 2011, 01:44:55 PM »There's more variety possible in the upper weight classes, definitely. One second, I'm having a goddamn brain hemorrhage merely comprehending the sheer scale of the naivety of that sentence. You have created the elder god of ignorant comments you crafty cultist, and now I am going to go in a coma in the next 3 seconds. 1097

tl;dr You idiots haven't learned sh** from this. 1098
