An II vs. SD Grand Final. Can't wait.
Err... I knocked out SD in the last round. Also, white text seems to no longer work, so you might want to edit your first post DK.

Great matches Starcore and SD. SC's new Fury looks truly fearsome. I'm gonna go out on a limb right now and say that it might be the best MW HS out there right now. Scrap's Tick is also a really good bot, and I'm relieved that I could out-last it without getting flipped or getting my motors ripped off.
As for my next match, I'm glad that Skrzak is unlikely to trigger JD's Srimech. We've all seen what that can do. But hey, JD, Guybrush made it this far for a reason. Never completely count yourself out.

I like it. I'm currently re-building obZen for your pack, so I hope that HNM will have a rival soon enough.

Mad and Pys's strategy is exactly what I wanted BW and Synergy to do, but I don't have Trov's mad AI skillz, so I have to just hope it works out for me :3

I am fully aware it radiates creativity from every kg, but at least i made something slightly original with the additional armor :P
I keep running into the same problem with my team(s) that I'd like to submit for the NAR AI v2. I had a sweet MW popup, but then Ounce and Reier and Pwn all built stuff similar, and I have no doubt that you're doing the same. I got a few SnS's that I'm working on (the HW can take out Blade Wave), and some other assorted things, but nothing that I'm ready to submit to you yet.

Hey Sage, could you keep the scores at the end of each round up for longer than half a second (about 5 would be nice)?
Other than that, great matches so far. I love the corner hazards, and Redline vs 40757 was an amazing match.
In b4 Naryar says "GHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY."
Seriously though, how do bots always find their way to the gaps? Someone needs to write an avoidtheedgeofthearena.py

It sounds cool and all, but it kind of defeats the purpose of a tounament. The reason why events like BBEANS are so interesting is that upsets can happen. I can guarantee that everybody, except Naryar, was thrilled when ITI beat PITA. What's the fun in a tourney if exactly what you think will happen happens?

Wedges are better with built up speed. For a true test, go into the combat arena and charge head-on. For an even better test, AI it.

This sounds fun. I'd be in for something like this.

Me want vet status. I've been around about as long as Sage and I still don't have vet status. Hell, I had 1000 posts on the old forum before you came around (which would take you a weekend, but it took me years :P). Anyways, you'll get it when you get it. Also, congrats to Pwn and Reier. Urjak too, although I don't really see how he's quite an AU yet. Regardless, he's clearly done enough in the mod's eyes. Good job, guys.

Flails are teh ghey because not only Gearhead can't beat Bane II EVEN if GH deals more than 6000 damage to the razors (would be enough for destroying all of them and this is not a fracture issue), Bane often doesn't even loses ONE SINGLE razor... This is why I don't mind flails. In the LW division, Bras-Ouvert style bots would dominate if not for flails. They actually bring some balance that static weaponed bots can't.

Dammit, WHY ISN'T YOUR FORMER SHOWCASE ARCHIVED? >:E
Anyway, I don't get how you attached the spinners because I'm seeing extenders tilted 45 degrees. O_O 30 and 80 degrees from the horizontal, actually. The spinners are just mounted on those and rotated. As for my old showcase, I still have all of the pics I posted on the wizforum with the exceptions of the first few bots I showcased. I may post them later, if enough of you would like to see bots from my n00b days.

I'm on fire. Augur Truth, a FS that was inspired by Lightkeeper. Fairly generic, but I've never had any sucess with FS before this one. Basically the same inner setup as Karnivore.

Yay! My blue extenders!
Anyways, the HS looks a lot like some bot in Inf's Ai pack (ReaXion?) The VS will wobble. Maces don't work on tribar VS. (Unless yours is somehow different.)
I like the use of DDT wedges for both. Did the idea come from inf's Lightkeeper?
Honestly, I don't know what either of those bot you mentioned are. I'll have a look at them. Also, I think that it was Click or someone that discovered that if you mount the blue snappers on their bottom attachment point, the stuff attached to them dosen't AGOD, so the VS dosen't wobble at all. And those are your red extenders that I skinned blue, so they are kinda yours, but not really at the same time. Thanks for forcing them to use a .bmp though.

I've always though that the BB machines were much more vicious, but there was a certain something that Craig Charles and the British Robot Wars had that made it much more enjoyable.

I was reminiscing about the old forums today, so I decided to re-build my two best HW's from back then other than R4. First was Metal Simulacra (original can be seen ). I haven't tested it yet, but I really like the way it looks. DSA, 2 blacks, and the like. Next, Karnivore. A Redbird spinner back in the day, I used RAD's on this one for weight and space purposes. DSA, 8 RADs and 2 blacks. The stock showcase section is really slow these days...

I was going to make one, but I decided against it. Frightening small children is much more fun on Halloween than amusing them :D
