You still haven't given any suggestions on HOW he can make it "more creative and not so box-y". Anything like a "hey maybe you can do (thing) and that would make it look better" would have sufficed. idk what kinda english class you took

It's a box with a flipper. You can fix that by giving it some external armor/accessories. I would suggest giving it wheelguards make out of flippermakers and replacing the cutting teeth with something that isn't as big as the flipper itself. You could get rid of the teeth entirely and I don't think it would really affect the performance of the bot. its so bland and boring and ugly

It's worth noting that people are stealing Skyrim mods (that they didn't make) off of Nexus and putting them up on steam for a quick buck. There's also a pricey "better horse genitalia" mod going for $100 that I bet Jonzu would be interested in, maybe MNB too if it included an option to reskin the horses to pink. Very quality. Congrats on your decision, Steam.
Steam's going about paid mods all wrong, minor mods like "hurf durf i reskind one of the weapons" shouldn't be monetized, that's on-par with microtransactions that wouldn't be out of place in a shoddily made facebook or mobile game. If you make a total conversion mod (like DSL, or Valve's own TF Classic), then it should undergo an approval process and be put up on steam if it gets approved.
Then again, that doesn't make mad money like selling a gorillion hats and crates at a few dollars a pop does.

It's the same case as MO1. Signups are "closed", but in reality you can still send in entries and I'll still accept them.

Stock is no holds barred slugfest of who can beat the other robot. No BS judges decisions or realism to hold you back. DSL is a mixed bag of IRL and standard, standard is closer to stock but has a grand total of 2 people still building for it and doesn't allow you to have intersecting spinning weapons or stacked internal parts, and IRL is more strict on realism (i.e. you have to make a bot as it would function in real life, although this "rule" can be bypassed very easily if cheatbot is allowed). Ironforge is like DSL except half the components aren't complete garbage.

The fact that they put Mewtwo in as paid DLC, the massive amount of mii costumes locked behind microtransactions and the fact that the Ness semiclone is in instead of an original character is kind of disappointing to be honest. At least Samurai didn't have Mewtwo be on disc DLC from day 1, unlike a certain company I know. I'm still surprised they haven't introduced any stage DLC as of yet either. I'm hoping for Snake, K Rool, Toad, and G&W buffs. Judging from previous patches though, I assume "character rebalances" more likely means "we nerfed greninja again LOL". (Image removed from quote.)

In light of the new battlebots reboot and the low amount of entries across the board, I have decided to eliminate weightclasses and have every bot from each weightclass fight in one tournament.

You can also just copy+paste other AI lines and edit the number values and name to lower the chances of it crashing.

Dangit, it didn't work. I'm still not sure what's making the game crash right away.
Amping your turnspeed up too high won't crash your game. Only way I could imagine the turnspeed number crashing your game is if you put it at some stupidly high number, like 999 billion. What's more likely to cause the crash is a misplaced or omitted comma. If you're using notepad++ you might want to turn off auto-indent too, that'll screw your bindings over easily.
