Madman is just quite a bit smarter than Freeziez, who is just n00b whacking for no reason.
Why is it that when I whack someone it's idiotic, but when anyone else, especially you and S32 do it, it's fine?
S32 bashing people is not fine.   He just does it anyway despite how many people called him out for it.

Let's just ban optimization completely, by calling it "against the spirit of realism".  Then tournament results would be pointless because bots were never build to compete.  I don't have problem with IRL or art bots, but let's not kid ourselves by claiming that the outcome means anything.  If it does then half the entries will be shell spinners.

The only conversation left in showcase will be how nice the bot looks and what an awesome skin job that is.  Which is why I stay in junkyard nowadays.

Also, this game cannot imitate realistic functions no matter how much house rules you put in, because the physics engine will not allow it.  Whichever bot type that works best with this game's mechanics will still dominate.

Here's a quote from Naryar which I find relevant to this topic.
If we had a CLEAR definition of "IRL building" it would be SO MUCH EASIER to say what is IRL... for me IRL is "realistic, and could work in real life".

Oh and I am entering BoF for fun, yes, but my definition of "fun" in robotic combat is... *inhales deeply*

Crush the chassis of your enemies while laughing maniacally ! Rejoice at other people posting awed comments at how Bad Ass your bots are ! Climb on top of a pile of defeated opponents and rise your weapons towards the sky to look awesome ! Inspire sheer unbridled TERROR in your enemies by beating their bots senseless ! Make special taunting py's so your bot spams the ingame chat with trash talk ! This is robotic combat, damnit, and it's essense is FAST PACED, BRUTAL CONFLICT, as well as survival of the fittest ! Components flying everywhere ! SPARKS FOR THE SPARK GOD !

Am I the only one who misread "Ferry" on the title as "Furry"?

I don't know.....  I was expecting a lot of shell/SnS just because it's rumble.  Maybe I can enter an SnS instead.

Humm, I guess I might have to use my shw wide popup then.  I am pretty sure that is more consistent than king rat in killing SnS.

Have you ever consider that it might have to do with the "frequency" of your drama baiting?

I only used the rating system twice.  First time was a up rating for Garvin because I don't think he deserves all the negative for posting a bot in his own showcase, second time is this.  So yeah, of all the dramas from the whole GTM, you are the only one who ever got a downrate from me.

Dang.

Do I have to chose sides?
You can choose your own beliefs and give a honest opinion.

But   honestly, how was Naryar suddenly screwing around around with my wiki   page and things and me telling him not to drama baiting? What I'd said   was pretty much harmless, and then he feels a need to blow it all out of   proportion to make himself look like some sort of freaking hero.
What he did is what he did, but "suddenly"?  You kidding right?

Only to you. No one else but you.

Oh, truly ? Then give me an explanation why Mr. AS, Enigma and 123 have joined in.
Hey now I down rated him for a legitimate reason.
Not at all- all I can see is that you just did it to give that poor excuse for a villain a minus-related hard-on.
Down rating you for drama baiting is fair to me, and I think a lot of people here will agree.

You want to prove me wrong?  Get 5 guys other than yourself, SoTG, or Hydro who don't think you drama bait to post here, and I will up rate you next time I can.

@Enigma: I am merely counter-trolling GF
Not doing a very good job of it, though- maybe your own villainous reputation needs a bit of work here and there  :coolface

Alright... if you want war... you will have it !

HEY GUISE REMEMBER WHAT WE SAID ABOUT THE LOVING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GF AND GARVIN

*goes to edit some random wikipage about that same relationship... and it will TOTALLY NOT be GF's*
That's just messed up.  It's not Garvin fault that GF93 is totally gay.

Based on the title, posting our own images will be on topic if we **subjectively believe** it is totally superior to yours.

I can probably send the bot that was intended for Battlebot 2, which never made it because signup was like half day long.

Flails: Of the flail weapons that exist, most use a small number of flails(2-4) and generally heavier components. I'd think a good compromise point would be flails are fine, in small numbers and when using heavy impact components(hammers, heavy blades, etc...)
You might as well ban flail if you make it heavy/concussion weapons only, because flails reduce concussion damage in this game.
