I believe I have found GF93's theme song. Some good old Anglo-Ska. =)

Guys, I need help. My computer is stuck in an endless loop of rebooting.
Does it BSOD before restarting?
Yes
That sounds to me like you've deleted some kind of critical startup component. Try running it in Safe Mode, and see if it still happens.

Coleophysis... damn it... isn't that a prehistoric, extinct fish or something like that ?

No wait it's a dinosaur.

Anyways Snapper2's are just plain horrible as weapon bursts.

That's a coleacanth (sp?) you're thinking of. =P

And it looks decent. I'm thinking you could axle load the Snapper axles out of the way and mount the battery horizontally to open up some space somewhere, or shrink the chassis at the back further.

I've been fiddling with the UI again.  :gawe: I quite like tinkering with stuff in PDN.

I have just got back from assembling a coal bunker for most of the day. My back hurts, but apart from that, it wasn't too bad. Just tedious.

How so? And would it still be noticeable with MW/LW and probably a lack of SNS?
Depends. There were a few issues with hazards in Steel Warzone where bots get stuck near the walls without moving much if trying to advance on a bot (that's how I lost against NFX, methinks). I was using a sawbot, so chances are it can still occur here.
I'd say the standard DSL arena is decent and has OOTA capability.
I thought it was AGOD on your wedges that kept you from getting to me. I thought the problem with it was that HS kept on losing their weapons on the spikes, and RPM got one of its arms caught between them. So I don't know if I'd go for the Containment Cube arena, personally, DSL Tourney arena is a kinda standard choice, maybe. Perhaps one that isn't TOO easy to OOTA opponents in, but still possible.

797.8 is weight, I'll try fix the blurring in future splashes.

If you save your pictures as PNG, rather than JPG, that will solve the blurring. JPGs are largely for photographs, where blurriness might not be an issue, so they're quite a lossy format. For the sort of screenshots and splashes you see here, PNG's give much higher quality for roughly the same file size.

I don't like that idea, personally, because the lighter of the multibots would be pretty pointless and redundant against the heavier ones. If we were doing multibots, I'd prefer it if they were the same weight class.

RAD drive is fine for MW HS. But you should be able to get a bunch more weaponry on there if you use only one SnapperII, and tidied up the extender work a little bit. Maces are the preferred medium for HS, largely due to their longevity and protection of the extenders, Irons allow you more reach.

how about instead of just a botpack, we make a 10th anniversary ai pack, including legendary/infamous bots and arenas (and the 10th anniversary skin if joe lets us/releases it), including such ones like:
- the stock bbeans champs
- the most notable bots from stock ai packs
- team SPARK from stock ai (emergency)
- any more of the most innovative/most combat worthy/iconic designs that we can find (digital apocalypse, absolute chaos, sftw)

team0 would be team spark (the oldest), and team14 (or whatever the last one happens to be) would be the newest one

That's what I had planned for a 10th Anniversary Pack.

Add some extender work to look like axle supports, that'll eat up some weight. Maybe add some extra small bits on the DSL bars, that'll eat up weight and stop it getting stranded. If all else fails, you could just add some more batteries, or upgrade the armour.

Good stack. Could shrink up the chassis, though, and remove the seemingly pointless extenders on the end there. Mount the RAD's facing outwards to get more reach, and I believe that might get you enough weight for Redbirds, providing you want to keep razors on there. You'll have to turn the motor extenders the other way to get the redbirds to fit, though, unless you want to attach them directly.

Where'd you get the weight for an extra razor? Asymmetric setup, or is the chassis just more efficient?
Airtight chassis and minimal extender work, mostly. That and I hit the sweet spot to attach the plow directly to the SnapperII again. =D

With that VS, you could probably lower the chassis a good deal, and that should give you the weight you need to get 132's on there.

SS looks alright, but yeah, axle will make it impossible to self-right. I'd have gone for an angled skirt rather than that heavy yet vulnerable extender assembly.

Quick LW, Toybox.

249.0, Nifty, DSA. Basically Child's Play IV with an extra razor. Trying to keep extender work to a minimum with my bots.

The Queen does nothing besides sit on a throne and looks regal. Her life must be as boring as sh**
In the words of Frankie Boyle, "How does the queen know if she's on holiday? She doesn't <expletive>ing do anything."

And just to help Nar a bit, the English Queen does have some powers, but she elects not to exercise them. The only thing she really does is something involving a transition from one government to the next.

So why the hell do these silly englishmen still bother with a queen ? It seems like an useless relic of the past.

Tourism, I suppose. There's a fair amount of income from tourists going to see Buckhingham palace and so forth. I suppose it gives them some sense of national identity as well, in the same way the US seem to feel about their flag.

That looks spectacular. Apart from the spike strips they look slightly pointless to me, and I sort of had to work to find them. I'm still seriously impressed by your Snapper setups, I get the feeling mines are far too minimalist to pull off something like this.

Really? From what I saw, apart from AAAAAAAAAAAAH COME ON (Or however you write it), all of them seemed pretty awesome.

But yes, I did come up against some damn good robots, there. Even with that, it makes me happy to know that it still held its own against them   :approve:

Mr. Punch vs. Zombie Pirate Ninja. =D

I reckon if a robot can beat ZPN, it's probably good enough to get into the main bracket. 'Cause ZPN is pretty fail, but it can still occasionally win.
