If it crashes right when you start a match, it's probably an error in the bindings; make sure you have no typos or extra spaces.

I use a method that's very similar, the only difference is that I attach the extender parallel to the baseplate, not perpendicular.

Well, the snow leopard has a toothache right now, but that doesn't stop me from building. Haven't been building much in DSL lately except rebuilding the bots that I have in Nar AI 1.1.:  The rebuild of Hornet Drone, now known as V.M. Worker, weapons are only slightly better, but it makes a difference. 2 ants, 1mm titanium.

A blatant rip off of 2 better robots, sorry for the poor cropping on this one, because it's rather large:  Velvet Revolution 2 blacks, 220cm (I think) wedges, DSA, 4 plows on a crappy extender setup. Main problems are that it's rather slim, the plow placement sucks (you can already see that, though), and it needs a skin (I can't just keep using others' skins, I need to create my own thing), though not as much.

I am still thinking wether your splash or video skill is better..... I would say his splash skills. He left out a couple of entrants, I was paired with Pwn, and greenbot was paired with NateF.

My method is somewhat a combination of the above 2, I usually get an idea while I'm at school. I first imagine the design itself, then imagine the component setup for the design. I implement the components and setup into a chassis I see fit, using different parts or setups if necessary, and rebuild the chassis to fit it around the components.
