How do you start with a clean park (no rides)?

Which game?

Too true. Challengers not replying, even without firewalls, always made me wonder. How could they refuse, even if you used a SFTW-like robot, to challenge you on an online game  that is now pretty much dead and buried? I mean, finding active opponents on there nowadays is like trying to find a matching pair of snowflakes!

Perhaps the match request isn't getting through to them, thus the timer goes down and they don't know they've been challenged at all.

If they do, they won't know what they're up against unless they quickly find you in the lobby.

I think it IS dead now. Can't find it anymore.

Haha, I actually saw you upload that.
It's a bit unstable. Looks good, works alright if a bit slow, though the flipper can break (Go beyond how far WBC's flipping arm can go up, and get jammed there)

Eeeh.. it was alright.

Abusable though. As long as you lost enough to keep your score down, you could stay forever in the - category, racking up wins and points with your all-decked-out battle machine.

Couple of glitches... and oh-so-much trouble finding a fight that worked.

Not bad.

Few pointers:

The flippers are generally too weak for the opposing bot's weight, only able to tip them over when they're only very partically on. The scrimechs are more effective at making the enemy tumble, though that's probably because they're in a compromising position already. Consider lowering bot densities or/and upping flipper power more.

Stiff rotating joints and Auto turning causes the Red flipper to havok like that.

Also it's [Red bot's] flipper wedge cannot beat the blue bot's, unless Blue has already fired it's flipper.

Ahaha, I was eventually gonna bring this up!

I've managed to make an AI axebot (Don't ask, I'm still trying to figure it out, could of just been a fluke) and I'm currently working on an arena containing 8 AI bots you can drag in and fight after making your own bot. Includes a sort of Storm 2 clone. Which works well!

All of my good stuff is currently not public.

Yes, I'm curious too. Unless Youtube is just that crap, you should be able to upload multiple 1 minute rounds with ease.

Isn't there a mult-uploader?

I don't have any pre-forum lightweights. Only pre-forum heavyweights, and as you know they had to be all replicas.

That presents a problem. Well, unless Klavier gets some weight shaved.. but still.

Hmm, can we see the insides? Wanna see what a DSL popup should really look like.

Unless it doesn't perform so well.

Well, you could use Notepad and the like, but you could say it's pretty high maintenance. Still haven't added or removed polygons to this date.

Judging the skin, you might of ruined it with all of that dirt. Seems a bit excessive.

I think those question marks gave me a reason to watch every fight for once.

Not right now though.. homework. :|

Did Jonzu say anything about having to take a break for this week? The weekend's almost over here and not having the weekly video would be crippling to an already slow tournament.

Yes, I will

I'm Thinking That Round 3 will be 2 Minutes & Round 4 (Final) Will be 3 Minutes. Good Idea?

Well, yeah.. but are you sure? You'd be changing tourney rules after it started. That's not exactly good practice, caving in like that.

As for the starting positions, it's the only way I could think of to get this arena to work the way it did. Especially having the fire grates where they are...

Perhaps you could of made the fire grates closer to each other, perhaps even interjoining. Perhaps a little smaller too, so there's more space for the corners to be used as starting points.
Maybe raising the grates again would help, as well.

Ofcourse it's a bit late now, but eh.
