this is getting quite popular ... unsure really what to do DuckRA2 said he would take a wild card spot before hand.... should the wild card bracket be expanded to 6 ??? Well it's up to u it's ur tournment :D. I'm game:gunz:. If u do add more to the bracket can it be the the best out of 2 out of 3:). Also sense this going to be before the actual tournment can we get to see Videos to or would that be to much of a hassle on ur part?

I Had a way better design but it was using KillZone plow and I found I can't use it in the tournment:frown: so I had to start over again from scratch and came up with this,Don't laugh it's my first bot:oops:. Idk I might have a chance anything can happen sense there is pits, drop zones, flippers:). Why is it attached thumbnail everybody elses is a full pic???

Joeblo put S32 in the wild cards please. Wow unbelivable ur wimping:baby_smily: out of battling Robots???? It's one thing to wimp out on a real fight but a freakin computer game lol . @ S32 and Sage and the other wild card contender I would be honored to fight against any one of you, and if I lose I'm gonna take my a$$ whoopin like a man and see what I did wrong and come back stronger for the next tournment not wimp out because somebody else is more experiance than me on building and fighting robots

with Sage, LRA2 and now you (possabily somebody else) all wanting in I think I will make "Wild Card" matches with the winner taking Hydro's Place that way all reserves will get at least one match rather than nothing Bro thats sweet.lol ya wildcard is what I meant, I watch to much UFC:)

@JoeBlow and everybody else. I had a cool idea(aleast I think so), Hear me out:-D: This is regarding the reserves, How about instead of having a long list of names and having people wait and not be able to fight We should have prelims:smile:. The people on the reserve list should have a chance to fight for the Number 1or2 spot depending on how many open slots there are for the actual tournment. This way everybody gets some action and I think you should earn the right to fight with the big dogs not just because you are the first person on the Reserve list before everybody else and this also gives new people like me a chance to observe and see what I need to improve for tournments to come:). So what u guys think about Prelims for Reserves:)

just to clear up some questions, AI is the term used for the computer controlled robots in RA2 (ones you fight in 1 player) basically for this tournament I put the bots in the game as computer controlled bots and get them to fight each other while I record the result and post the videos up here for everyone to see
Anti Ballast is a component for the game that will do nothing but subtract 400kg of your bot by doing this you will have 1200kg to work with (800 limit + 400 from the anti ballast) the game will only build up to 800 but since it started at -400 you can use 1200kg I made a bot, did u already start the tournment, can I still enter or is it to late, I just want to see how my bott will match up against everybodyelse so then I know How much work I got to do in the lab and what to expect for tournments to come:redface: Yeah, I doubt that he is coming ack, I could ask him once I see him on steam if he is still entering.
Edit: He just said he doesnt care. can I take his place then:smile:

Wow reading through all these post I don't know what to say :D. This seems pretty hard to build bots from scratch:(. I usally just import the bots and try editing with things I Liked:) But seeing all the help I really want to try to build from scratch and make a bot sick enough to fight in tournments :D

Yes.
Unless you plan to enter a cluster bot which is two bots with weights that add up to 1200 kg. Just make sure each bot is of the same weight class. There's more info on cluster bots on the first page of this thread. ok thanks

You are late, but you still might be able to be a reserve. O ok, I'm a little confused on what u guys mean by AI'ing. Aslo I'm confused with the Anti Ballast would I be at a disadvantage if I don't have a bot 1200kg???

the rankings now contain all names entered in this tournament the order of the unranked people is just random at the moment but after qualifying you will be sorted out in your correct ranks and it will be updated through the each round of the tournament Hi am new how do i enter the tournment:D, is it to late???
