I have absolutely no idea. Most of the time the drive just forces the opponent up even further, although I never cared whether all of the weapons are dealing damage because either way I'm seeing greens pop up every half-second. :P

loljk but yeah, you have much better choices for armor (try shell panels for connectivity options) and even the flipper itself (some of the replica arms should have the shape you're looking for).

That's funny, a Demoknight is much better suited for CTF rather than Scout (haven't played much SD yet to do a proper analysis). With the Persuader and you can pop in and out of the intel building with ease (Sentries? You have 16 grenades.) and you can also survive a forced encounter, with a health return to boot.

Oh, and FYI, Bonk can't save you when you're already carrying the intel. Being able to get in doesn't mean you can get out alive (unless your team managed to take out the nest when you already have the intel).

Lies. They charge at you? Launch a rocket at their feet and watch as they miss you completely, then either follow up with shotgun blasts or more rockets. Demoknights rarely kill me 1 v1, unless its an enclosed space...and even then, they don't come out of it very well. They're just too easy to kill imo..

You can't run away from them because when they spam the Charge, they're faster than most characters, and most of them kill characters in 2 or 3 hits. My Scout, no matter how hard I hit them with the FaN, usually always meets his demise by a Demoknight. I can't run from them, I can out jump them (Atomizer ftw) I can't get enough hits on them with anything and the atomic drink takes too long to use.

You're a Scout. You're not supposed to take anyone on head on. You're not supposed to let anyone know where you are and where you're coming from. And you're not supposed to use the FaN or the Bonk that way. Get back to the original Scattergun and pistol (any pistol works fine). Pick the Demos off at range with your secondary, and as soon as they charge to you, meatshotkilllawl

Demoknights immediately gimp their own team just because they're there.

The shield is much more useful as an escape tool rather than an offensive utility. It saved my ass more than once when I see a Medic pair coming up and I'm alone.

Got around the unrealistic srimech issue by not opting to use the bursts as a srimech at all. And freed up some weight so improve the trapper. And for some magical reason, the wedges improved (by this --||-- much, which means it can at least go under Guard Duty)!

So yeah, 3mm plastic, 4WD NPCF, Perm 80s, and pretty airtight chassis (which is why I only had 6 ants instead of the planned 8).

I'm starting to hate the NPC's mesh. Damn thing won't let me place ants/large CB directly on top of it >:E

Just testing out a weapon motor setup, although there's still a couple of improvements to be made. And as usual, metal hinges refuse to cooperate so I'm down to BSG wedges which can't even get under my old bots.
