OH,YEAH I meant to say, I don't think I can withought making it slower than it is,
Speed is unimportant for a HS, all they need to is push their weapons into the target.

no I couldent, gut it out down to the drive and you'll see there is no way in heck you can fit 5 DDTs in there
and I ment overkill with the weaponry, all it needs really are the wedges
Oh please. I put eight DDTs in Surgic.
Btw, I will enter, this looks decent.

You could use lighter wheels, but the best option would to use any armor under 3mm Aluminum. DSA in DSL is just as heavy, but with far less strength than 1mm Plastic. Might I recommend 1mm titanium?

Real Robotics Discussion / Re: Least favorite robot!
« on: January 10, 2010, 06:39:50 PM »
Without a doubt, my least favourite robot is Tough as Nails (Or "Cheap as Chips" as I like to call it). I mean, that thing won only by the cheapest methods possible-immediately grabbing opponents and pitting them-no action, and always boring and predictable.
Plus how they pitted Disc-O-Inferno (Who I looked forward to seeing that year, and was dominating the fight!), and did Panic Attack and RoboChicken out of their respective victories.
And then there's the World Championship. We could've had GRAVITY in there, but nooo....
I was so happy when Bulldog Breed and Storm II gave that cheap excuse for a robot a taste of its own medicine.

I always liked T.A.N. They built a bot that matched the arena, and got far for it. It was quick, simple, and effective.

My most hatted bot is Typhoon 2. They basically cheated to get win the RW7. They were allowed to fix there bot in battle, AND they left out a bit in the jugging that, if known, would of ment that Storm2 would of won. The booing from the crowd was so loud that they had to play a cheer track to make sure that it seemed that Craphoon2 was the favorite. Single mined TV producers, you got to hate them.

The back would be better with no deference. Its a common new comer mistake to put armor in the back.

WHY!?!? that would just slow him down, he's perfect, trust me
Theres no such thing as a perfect robot. You can build it to get it as optimized as possible, but theres always something you could do to it to make it better.
In the case of your bot, move the spike to the front, and place it so it would barely hit the other bot, so the FS will grind it a way while the spikes do damage.
