After the utter failure of Horizon Line, I had an urge to retry it. Therefore, here is the ultimate L O N G B O I, Horizon Line 2, this time featuring an actually effective flipper!

I noticed that people build 36HS and such in stock, and they claim it is "without ra2CF". Not saying that they are wrong, by the way. I just want to learn how to. Can anyone teach me?
I believe, that what they do is spin the weapon slightly until it is not in the same place as the other one, and then mount weapons onto the other spinner, meaning that the weapons intersect without CF.

You realise allowing people to edit their bot between rounds is ridiculous? Especially with AWs where there is little chassis variety.
Maybe you could make a restriction that you can only edit 1/10th of the weight of your overall bot. E.G: In a 150kg robot, I could remove and replace 15kg worth of stuff at most. For modular robots, the same rule applies with each module. For example, my flipper could have a spinner module. If I then choose the spinner module and want to change it, it goes back to the rule that I can change 1/10th of the weight of it.

Would you please consider posting Blighted Mind on the Bot Exchange as it looks really cool and I would personally really want to mess around with it a bit.

I personally like the range of artistic and efficient IRL bot in tournaments. If anything I think this makes it more IRL. For example in Battlebots, Tombstone is not a very artsy design, but its efficient. Meanwhile we have designs like Red Devil or Obwalden overlord, which are complicated and made to be cool not necessarily to win. However I do agree that people should stop whining about 'tryhard' bots, as log as they are resemble what a robot could look like in real life and follow the rules set out by the tournament.

I have added a bottom panel onto Get Framed, and also got it under the weight limit. Here are some bonus shots from the sides and back as well !

Just a question, I tried to link multiple images but I couldn't figure out how, please could you tell me how it works. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
It should be as simple as clicking on that button and repeating as needed.
Edit: Ninja'd
You hit the more attachments button, upload your second image and then hit insert attachment #
Thanks Don't know how I didn't see that.

These are pretty good newbie bots, though I cannot comprehend the shape of out "Horizon Line" at all. I would recommend putting a bottom plate on "get framed" since most framed robots have bottoms in the real world.
Also, if you have multiple robots, please only post one post with each robot.
Thanks! Just a question, I tried to link multiple images but I couldn't figure out how, please could you tell me how it works. I will also attempt to fit in a bottom into Horizon Line and Get Framed.

Finally, there is my newest creation, inspired by Magnetar and Pulsar , Get Framed. It has an Aluminium Frame and its back and top have Aluminium plates, but as the name suggests the majority of the armour is just a frame, the idea is so that it can trap weapons in it and control them (it totally isn't that I ran out of weight or anything). Its discs are made of steel and are powered by a Perm. Its drive is 2 NPC fasts. Its only issue is it can struggle to self right.

Sorry for the bot dump but theres quite a few I have waiting to be showcased: Next is Horizon Line, a 'pneumatic' flipper that can barely lift a robot up and may occasionally be able to topple one over. The flippers don't reset correctly and it is also unbearably slow because weight limitations. Its armour is Aluminium with an Aluminium frame. Its flipper is also aluminium and its wheels are powered by two normal NPCs. It looks nice though

This is First Blood, my first ever proper IRL robot and my entrant into Deathmatch 2. It has Aluminium armour, Titanium frame, wheels are powered by Wyachi magmotors and my spinner is powered by a Perm. It has a good weapon but is unbearably slow.
